I think it’s a stretch to assume she is ONLY known for her exes. Who would even fit it that category? Hadid was a Housewife and a somewhat successful model. And she only has one famous ex. The woman in the blind item has grown children. People weren’t generic “celebrities” 30 years ago. At least I can’t think of any. I don’t think actresses can be ruled out.

Lisa Bonet was a big deal in the '80s, but hasn't done much at all in the last decade. So she's not really an "actress" anymore.

The BI does not clearly indicate that only now is this celebrity woman known by most for her exes and kids. It indicates that her exes (or being a wife) and kids are the main reason why most people know her.

A "barely there celebrity at this point" suggested, to me, that there was a time when she was a much bigger celeb (A-list). Either way... Do these blind items ever get "solved"?

I was interpreting the extra space after the dash to mean the woman was A minus list. So Hadid didn’t seem completely insane. If it was someone A-list, they have to be famous for something on their own. Realizing my mistake, Jolie, Griffin, and Bonet seem most likely.

To summarize:

Hadid - nowhere near A-list and has only one famous ex who is really only a household name outside the music industry because of her nonsense. No way.

Demi - was A-list, famous exes, but nobody cares about her kids and she isn’t known for the exes. She was big in her own right before Willis and at her peak was way bigger than Kutcher. He got more famous from her, not vice versa.

Bonet - Arguably not quite A-list, but the scenario seems most likely to have happened to her. She was a pretty huge TV star and probably the first black star to have the majority of American teen boys of all races and backgrounds thinking she was super hot. And she still looks great. So I could see some drunk middle-aged guy who is hitting a high point in his career late in the game thinking he was going to make his teenage dreams come true. Not trying to make light of the behavior, but it’s a scenario that’s very easy to imagine. Not originally known for her exes, but her kids and partners are the only reason anyone has heard about her in the last 30 years.

Jolie - still quite famous, but if you interpret the BI to mean she is literally becoming smaller, it works. Her kids are not well known as individuals, but she is known for having them. Plus, I don’t see anyone hitting on her unless it was a hate fuck attempt.

Griffin - fits the criteria, but her age makes it seem a little less likely. She’s had some drug/alcohol issues in the past and has exhibited erratic behavior, so not inconceivable she could have been in a vulnerable situation at a party. Seems like she has her shit together reasonably well these days, though.

Hawn - fits the criteria, but I think she’s too old and maybe too powerful for someone to pull something like that on her.

Streep - too old and too powerful x 100, she is still more famous than her kids, and not known for her exes. I think this was a joke.

Osborne - she is still married to Ozzy and has no ex partners she is famous for.

Uma Thurman is the only other possibility I can think of and it’s not a great fit. Her daughter isn’t well known, Thurman isn’t known as her mother, and she isn’t known for her exes.

Exes - Sinatra, Andre Previn, Woody. Offspring - Ronan and Soon-Yi (and many more)
