Lana Del Rey interviewed for Harper's Bazaar

Eilish and Swift have cribbed so much from her and gotten all the acclaim for it, but I prefer Lana myself.

Same R1. Lana is a real artist who has a soul and real thoughts and feelings. You can hear it in her voice and her lyrics. Swift is a vapid careerist with no depth. I find her disgusting and am surprised Lana worked with her. Eilish is listenable in my book, but yes, Lana did pave the road for her.

Lana is the real deal. Love listening to her. I hope she wins Album of the Year. I fear SZA will win.

Like it or not, Lana is one of the best songwriters we have working today. She's an original. She also seems like a nice person. I envision that her body of work will be well-remembered and age nicely, unlike many of her shallow and cunty contemporaries (Swift, Beyonce, etc.)

Wow, what a great pic of her too. She looks really healthy. Like this was the person she was always meant to be, instead of some skinny, drug addicted, hard luck waif. And she does real-life, unexpected things for experiences that help to inform her writing process.

Lana is really the only interesting big time pop stars since Gaga became too tame and Rihanna became a billionaire.

I had no idea Lana was a teen model at one point, let alone in an Abercrombie ad with Lindsay Lohan.

Thinks she's the Marilyn Monroe of music when she's Mamie Van Doren.

She looks big as a house!

It's hard to tell since she's sitting down, but she looks like she might have lost a bit of weight to me. She's still much bigger than she was years ago, but it happens. She looks pretty and seems like a sweetheart.
