Around 1956, Richard became involved with Audrey Robinson, a sixteen-year-old college student, originally from Savannah, Georgia.[107][124] Richard and Robinson quickly got acquainted even though Robinson was not a rock and roll fan. Richard said in his 1984 autobiography that he invited other men to have sexual encounters with her, including Buddy Holly. Robinson denied those statements.[107][125] Robinson refused his marriage proposal. Robinson later became known under the name Lee Angel as a stripper and socialite.[126] Richard reconnected with Robinson in the 1960s, though she left him again over his drug abuse.[107] Robinson was interviewed for Richard's 1985 documentary on The South Bank Show and denied Richard's statements. According to Robinson, Richard would use her to buy food in white-only fast food stores that he could not enter due to his skin color.
I know he was gay, but what’s the tea on Little Richard and Audrey Robinson?

She was briefly interviewed in the documentary that came out about him earlier this year. She said they slept together and he asked her to marry him. He was likely experimenting with his sexuality back then.

She was a good friend who happened to be a girl in the small town he was raised. She was STACKED. They fooled around - but who isn't horny at that age.
Sounds like she was a close and good friend of his for decades, but she knew he was gay.
I hate when they paint all of these gay men and straight women former lovers / friendships into 'the love of their lives' bullshit. Yes - they were their best and reliable friends. But stop making it out that they were so in love romantically with them.
They did the same thing to Freddie Mercury. Straight washing.

We need a Little Richard biopic next. A lot to explore in regards to his complex relationship with his sexuality as well as being pioneer of rock n’ roll.
