Hasbeen.

by Anonymousreply 1November 1, 2023 3:15 PM

She matched her jacket to the painting! You don’t see that in ArtNet everyday

by Anonymousreply 2November 1, 2023 4:24 PM

Extremist woke loon. Get a therapy, Sharon.

by Anonymousreply 3November 1, 2023 4:46 PM

Crazy eyes.

by Anonymousreply 4November 1, 2023 4:46 PM

This is why I got admitted to MENSA at the age of 12!!!

by Anonymousreply 5November 1, 2023 4:50 PM

She looks like a recovering alcoholic power lesbian, bouncing from job to job as she gets fired quickly for verbally and physically abusing her staff.

by Anonymousreply 6November 1, 2023 4:51 PM

Stop being mean!

by Anonymousreply 7November 1, 2023 4:55 PM

If I were to guess at Sharon Stone’s inner world, I would guess it looks just like that painting.

by Anonymousreply 8November 1, 2023 5:58 PM

How dare she have a hobby.

by Anonymousreply 9November 1, 2023 6:02 PM

R5, I was admitted a week after I was born!

by Anonymousreply 10November 1, 2023 6:06 PM

I actually like her work! It's nothing new or exciting. But it's solid.

by Anonymousreply 11November 1, 2023 6:10 PM

Hideous

by Anonymousreply 12November 1, 2023 6:19 PM

She's going to start painting abstract versions of her pussy, isn't she?

by Anonymousreply 13November 1, 2023 6:27 PM

I can't believe I'm writing this, but...I actually like some of the paintings.

by Anonymousreply 14November 1, 2023 6:31 PM

Very ugly.

by Anonymousreply 15November 1, 2023 6:33 PM

Maybe more Sharon Stone bought an easel, paints and some canvas, which she used.

by Anonymousreply 16November 1, 2023 6:33 PM

DL would be the first place to discuss this.

by Anonymousreply 17November 1, 2023 6:37 PM

There are far worse things former actors could do, like drown in a hot tub.

In short, what they are trying to say in an obfuscating manner is that she is utterly talentless as a painter, but those perpetrations that she makes (which ANY five-year-old could make), have some hidden spiritual depth that elevates them above the worthless wastes of good painting materials that they appear to be.

Which is fine, but also an insult to our collective intelligence. A painter creates works of exceptional beauty that reflect the world through their personal perspective, but MUST comply with certain rules of realism, accuracy, proportion, orientation, depth, execution and style. That is why 90% of the art that has been produced since the early 20th Century is utter and complete shit, because it doesn't comply with any of those VERY important rules.

Click on the link below: those are real paintings made by a talented contemporary painter. 95% of what is produced nowadays is rubbish, and this includes Sharon Stone's visual diarrhea.

She really does think she’s an “artist.”

by Anonymousreply 20November 1, 2023 6:58 PM

Blondes should not use bronzer. A real artist would know that.

by Anonymousreply 21November 1, 2023 7:01 PM

Model, actress, artist.....

...is there no beginning to her talent?

Her jacket appears to have a gall, or a strange efflorescence

Looks awkward, she should have it looked at

by Anonymousreply 23November 1, 2023 7:06 PM

But is she an arteest?

by Anonymousreply 24November 1, 2023 7:20 PM

You can see the tops of eyeballs. DL knows what that means, but I can’t type it because that word is strangely banned.

R19 you sound like some kind of stoic painting instructor at the Royal Academy in London circa 1795. In order from highest skill level to lowest: History paintings (Jesus allegories, a battle) , portraits, genre paintings (women doing chores, an everyday event), then landscape, then still life paintings.

You have joined us in the year 2023. Also, all art is representational, thus all art is an abstraction to some degree 😘

by Anonymousreply 26November 1, 2023 9:04 PM

So her "inner world" has a tapeworm?

by Anonymousreply 27November 1, 2023 9:08 PM

R27 Tell that to Kitara. She’s having a hard time fitting into her sweaters.

by Anonymousreply 28November 1, 2023 9:15 PM

Well kids, even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day. I like two of the paintings of the collection. The pink one with white and black accents could be said to possess a "lyrical" quality. The rest, I feel like I can see the literal dimensions of the square sponge she used to daub. She didn't even try to blend it. Super dorky.

by Anonymousreply 29November 1, 2023 9:19 PM

I guess she didn’t get the VOGUE Azerbaijan like she wanted.

by Anonymousreply 30November 1, 2023 10:38 PM

Did she paint them with her butt?

by Anonymousreply 31November 1, 2023 10:40 PM

They’re sort of OK, which for someone like Sharon Stone qualifies as a standing ovation.

by Anonymousreply 32November 1, 2023 10:42 PM

She looks fabulous! I love Sharon.

by Anonymousreply 33November 1, 2023 11:20 PM

R30, not even Vogue Andorra.

by Anonymousreply 34November 2, 2023 6:49 PM

She does look great but her paintings do not.

by Anonymousreply 35November 2, 2023 6:53 PM

She’s looking kinda good I have to say

by Anonymousreply 36November 2, 2023 8:03 PM

why does she look startled? Drugs, insanity, or botched eye job?

by Anonymousreply 37November 2, 2023 8:11 PM

Oh, she got the same paint by the nunbers set like mum! From the The Meadows gift bagm right?

by Anonymousreply 38November 2, 2023 10:30 PM

There are several I like, but they are wildly inconsistent. She needs to continue to hone her work before exhibiting.

by Anonymousreply 39November 2, 2023 10:38 PM

She's no RHED!

by Anonymousreply 40November 2, 2023 10:42 PM

Painter Sharon listens to a lot of rap.

Bump for original thread

by Anonymousreply 42January 19, 2024 4:44 PM

They always end up being about periods.

by Anonymousreply 43January 19, 2024 7:37 PM

Like her acting, these seem really amateur.

by Anonymousreply 44January 19, 2024 7:53 PM

Safe art. Whimsically decorative.
