“Larry, we all try to use humor to numb the pain in our lives. Not really my kind of humor, but kept him out of trouble. Now you can’t take a shit without being cancelled!”

Next up—We welcome the legendary Dionne Warwick to discuss drowning in a bathtub. Of course, viewers will remember that Dionne lost her daughter Whitney Houston in a similar tragedy. Does the body get all wrinkled?

On the bright side Larry, at least he lived long enough to see me win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. I'm sure that brought him great joy.

The news is so tragic. Larry, I don't have much to add. I'm also very upset about the Israel situation. I started my career in Fiddler on the Roof you know. Or wait a minute was that me or Bette Midler? I'll ask Feinstein when he comes over with my dinner. Now what was the question again Larry?

by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 29, 2023 6:09 AM |
Folks, we have a very special "Larry King Alive?" tonight, a tribute to the singer known as a friend to all, Perry Como, who died in a tragic accident trying to catch a falling star.
Our guests include Chris Matthews, who, when hearing of what happened to Lake Como, exclaimed, "HA!" Also Ross Matthews, to tell us of when he and Steve and Edie Perry once dressed in drag for Halloween. And in a musical salute to the Greatest Hits of Bing Cherry, we have a rare appearance by the Dave Matthews Band.
The phone lines are open. Go ahead, Bayside!

Folks, tonight's very special edition of "Larry King Alive?" is a remembrance of the late actor Matthew Morrison, known to us as John Wayne Gacy.
Tragically, he drowned yesterday in Lake Como, just as he was finishing his Broadway adaptation of "J'accuse," to star his best friend Richard Dreyfus, last seen on "Shark Tank."
To tell us more of the life of Matt Monroe will be Macauley... Cullihan? Cunanan? That kid from the home. Steve and Eydie, who ate borscht with Perry in the Catskills---the stories! And of course his last love Pia Zadora. Or was that Liza?
Let us know! The phone lines are open. Go ahead, Syosset!
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 29, 2023 1:43 PM |
Folks, tonight's "Larry King Alive?" is a memorial to a very successful Colored actor---that's still good, right? Colored? Because Sammy had no problem with it from Frank. Not Joey, though; Frank.---Tinker Tailor Perry. He tragically passed away yesterday by drowning, which was unusual, as I understand that the Blacks don't like to swim.
His mother, Antoinette, told us her son was just finishing the editing for his upcoming holiday comedy, "Madea: Don't Bogart My Kwanzaa, Okay? Okay!" Co-starring Laverne Cox, Jaden Smith, and, in her movie debut, North West as the terminally-ill but still chipper "Little Girl."
Our guests to remember this distinguished grandson of President Tyler---he died from tipping over his canoe, right? Warnings, people; warnings---are Momager Extraordinaire Kris Jenner, who will talk to us about men dressing as women and their fashion don'ts; Dane Cook, neither a Dane nor a cook but he's here; and with the specially-written Rap---it's Rap, right, not Hippity-Hop? Sammy would know---"Good-bye, Madea in the Wind" by the star of "Wonky Eye," Timmy T.
Because Periwinkle had many fans, the phone lines are open. Go ahead, Douglaston!

So, I'm terribly sorry for your loss, sir. Always hurts to lose a friend. Especially if that friend is a Friend.
My viewers and I area anxiously await your response to this vital question. I hope you don't mind my asking but my viewers would never forgive me if I don't.

Larry: Hey everybody to add a diversity of view points, we have Gale King with us. Gail as the daughter of the the most important civil rights icon in all of history:
Gail interrupts: Well first let me just say that this is painful. Oprah and I watched the show every week. Sometimes we had to TiVo Friends during the L word’s run but we never missed it. With that being said, it is the perfect time to acknowledge a glaring reality and conduct some healing. Black actors were systematically cut out of Friends. There should have been a black friend; even Oprah agrees.

He was a star. He was a legend. He was a friend. Matt Perry sat here and, well sat there, and I talked to Matt and we talked about, we talked, he had just, when he had just been cast as a nerdy scientist in a brand new bar room television program with Jen Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow called "Friends".
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 2, 2023 1:16 AM |
You could sense it. He had them. He tried to hide them. He had his demons. He was on television, on a teevee situation comedy program. And some movies. There will be no more television. No more movies. A hot tub. And now, in that small, exclusive group, those friends, on the couch, there are only four.

Folks, we bring you tonight a special edition of "Larry King Alive?" with the new Speaker of the House Magic Johnson, who will read from the Book of Matthew, the New York Times bestseller published by the famous editor Perry White. Its subject, Matt Damon, tragically died yesterday from an accidental overdose of peri-peri sauce. Isn't it funny how close his name is to demon? I just noticed that. Maybe Liza can tell us more.
Here to share their fondest memories are the surviving Brothers Four: Marky Mark, Luke, and John. Joining them in song tribute will be Julie Budd as Barbra. Finally, to lighten the mood, we have Senor Wences and his happy little Topo Gigio.
Many of you must have questions, so the phone lines are open. Go ahead, Queens Village!
