What a wonderful new gay Swedish series. It just came out yesterday and it’s a quick watch (six 30-minute episodes). I don’t want to reveal any spoilers—I’ll just say that it’s about a 27-year-old gay man and it feels very complete emotionally, with sad, funny, and romantic moments. The lead actor also wrote and created the series.

^ LOL. I was going to ask if "Tore" referred to the protagonist's rectum.

Saw this floating around in the ether, but didn't know it was gay themed, I'll check it out. Lead is cute, great hair.

The dog is cute, too.

Awesome show, binged it twice now. Sexy, funny, poignant – all perfectly balanced. As someone who also blew up their life to shreds a couple of times, it was maybe even too relatable at times. His first gay bar visit was almost as bad as my first (and only) foray into gay bars, ouch.
My fave character was his frau best friend. I had that kind of unconditional friendship once and lost it, and this show made me miss it so much. And her kid is one of the most adorable kids I've ever seen on TV.
What a talented little homo Spetz is, can't believe he wrote and acted the shit out of all that. He somehow also has the body of a 17-year-old, the lucky bitch.

Well, the dog looks as if he could be Swedish.

"Haha, the Swedes are all blond, I'm twelve and this is funny."
The chav trash he got involved with was hot, the rape and the drugs notwithstanding. Again reminds me of my first time in a gay bar – fell straight for the shady drug dealer that everyone else was avoiding. Shame it couldn't work out, they had great chemistry together, much better than with that cute florist.

Watching it now and crying my eyes out. I know, MARY!

r9 I cried as well, it was the most cathartic show since Beef for me. I also got hurt bad once like he did and then decided to become an Ice Queen so as not to get hurt again; iced out my friends AND my pet just like Tore. I still regret it, but the sense of control felt so much better than hurt and vulnerability at the time.
