New House Speaker/boogeyman Mike Johnson most likely has Aspergers Syndrome
I picked this out right away. Look at him. This is how it looks. People are going to start noticing and talking about how strange he seems, even on the right.
He will most likely be an ineffective House leader because people on the Spectrum tend to be strident, uncompromising and prone to tantrums.

Does anyone for one minute think the Republicans would have elected a normal human being for speaker?... Oh, pleeze 🙄

I assumed they would have just chosen from their well-stocked supply of sociopaths.
An Aspie won’t get anything done. They cannot do legislature.

I absolutely believe he is. An Aspie is more likely to be a “true believer.” Think about Napoleon, Vladimir Lenin or Osama bin Laden.

Look at Hannity.
He senses something is wrong. An Aspie in politics is exceedingly rare so Johnson’s vibe (somewhere in between placid cow and alien visitor) is throwing him off.

The Dem strategy right now with him is to make him famous. They are saying he was stealth, a quiet guy, and the media was caught unawares and we need to shine a fucking spotlight on him. I agree. He is nuts. I don't know if it's Assburgers or WTF ever, but he is deeply crazy. We have to make him a national embarrassment and I believe there is sentiment within the GOP to allow that to happen. The placeholder, Patrick McHenry was off the chain talking about how angry he was and how unnecessary it was to dump McCarthy. He admitted to the messy GOP factions and what an uphill climb unity will be. So I suspect a few GOP House members may help nudge Mikey off the cliff.

You know, with this iteration of the Republican party, I really feel uncomfortable describing them as"Conservatives." They're extremists. This Mike Johnson person is a fucking extremist. Just because a lot of these fuckers talk nice or have good manners and they're "quiet" doesn't mean they're good people. They aren't. The media is responsible for perpetuating this myth because they are so Trump focused. They think an extremist politician has to be a Trump or a Boebert, or MTG or Gaetz with all the spectacle. But there are a lot of Mike Johnsons out here in state legislatures and in Congress and we need to make sure people know what rotten fuckers they are.

Everyone knows Republicans can’t be unscripted. They’ll either have nothing intelligible to say, or they’ll contradict their own parties talking points. Watch how they field sarcasm, for example. They can’t script it so it falls flat.

OP, people can be strident, uncompromising and prone to tantrums without being on the spectrum.
Also, for the person pointing to Bernie Sanders - Sanders is actually a very effective legislator and gets plenty of bills signed into law. They're just not big leftie bills. Sanders talks a big talk about being a socialist but he's much more practical as a legislator.

No, those are sociopaths, you mook. The primary defining feature of sociopathy is the penetrating glare. This is because sociopathy is a remnant of the hunting traits of hunting/gathering. Sociopaths always look like they are calculating the distance it takes to stalk and attack prey. This look is completely absent in most people on the ASD, whose primary feature is a glassy eyed, benign vacant look.
Sociopath:

If he is a Republican, he is mentally damaged. I do not need to parse the quality of his mental illness.
However, I want to know if the Southern Baptist Conference maintains numbered retirement accounts for elected officials in order to launder lobbyist bribes and cash for SB elected officials. Mikey Johnson has no bank accounts, no investments, no 402K. Is his church holding his bribe cash?
