Baby decapitated during delivery

How in the hell did this happen? I’ve never held a newborn baby before, but are their heads really that brittle that they just pop off? Seems like the doctors and nurses would’ve been trained to stop this from happening.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Momma had a baby and its...

by Anonymousreply 2October 27, 2023 1:33 AM

I watched a c-section while a student. I really thought the doctor, who was a tiny woman standing on what looked like a milk crate, was going to rip the poor baby's head off! She didn't somehow.

by Anonymousreply 3October 27, 2023 1:34 AM

I learned that in a C-section, they take a lot of organs out, aside from the uterus, cut the baby out, sew up the uterus, then pile the uterus and all the organs back in. Yecccch.

I don't believe the baby's head was actually removed from its body. I believe what happened was the spinal cord was disconnected from the baby's brain stem at the neck, and they're calling it a "decapitation".

by Anonymousreply 6October 27, 2023 1:51 AM

[quote]“During this viewing, their baby was wrapped tightly in a blanket with his head propped on top of his body in a manner such that those viewing him could not identify that he had been decapitated,” according to the statement.

Who delivered the baby — Mr. Bean?.

by Anonymousreply 7October 27, 2023 1:55 AM

It seems to be MUCH too long to wait for an autopsy. What's really going on here?

by Anonymousreply 8October 27, 2023 1:58 AM

If the baby's head had actually been removed from its body there would have been a massive amount of blood and no swaddling of the baby so people could view it could have hidden that.

It's bad form to have both parents hold the newborn at the same time from different rooms.

by Anonymousreply 10October 27, 2023 2:05 AM

Dr. Bean, DE-CAP OB-GYN

by Anonymousreply 11October 27, 2023 2:07 AM

The ob/gyn’s website shows her and her medical team in a series of glamor shots. wearing evening gowns, like bridesmaids at a wedding. A red flag, I would think.

It’s even worse form when the nurse flips a coin to determine heads or tails.

Oh well, that's Clayton Co. for you.

by Anonymousreply 14October 27, 2023 2:16 AM

R6, yes. That is technically what a decapitation is. We think it's the horror movie concept of a head rolling free like a bowling ball, but no.

Forgive me, but I do have to wonder if the mother's gunt was a contributing factor.

There are many reasons why doctors urge pregnant women not to gain too much weight during gestation.

by Anonymousreply 15October 27, 2023 2:17 AM

did her thunder thighs crush it?

by Anonymousreply 16October 27, 2023 2:20 AM

From that photo, it seems odd that the baby wasn't able to cartwheel out of that Tunnel of Love.

by Anonymousreply 17October 27, 2023 2:22 AM

I just assumed that was an after photo.

by Anonymousreply 18October 27, 2023 2:24 AM

Well, as Ann Miller once said about a friend’s miscarriage, “We’ve all gotta go sometime.”

by Anonymousreply 19October 27, 2023 2:26 AM

What about the other three children she had up there?

by Anonymousreply 20October 27, 2023 2:28 AM

[quote]Forgive me, but I do have to wonder if the mother's gunt was a contributing factor

Yes —it’s been reported that the mother has type 2 diabetes and the baby was larger-than-average, which likely contributed to the shoulders getting stuck during delivery.

by Anonymousreply 21October 27, 2023 2:31 AM

In between the weekly piss-fucking, the glory holes, the South American guys and the monthly obligatory GF fucking, I’m exhausted.

by Anonymousreply 22October 27, 2023 2:36 AM

Thank you for explaining so comprehensively what a decapitation is, technically speaking.

We were misinformed, obviously.

by Anonymousreply 23October 27, 2023 2:42 AM

In fairness, if they HAD tried to do a C-section, it might have taken them two weeks to reach the baby.

by Anonymousreply 24October 27, 2023 2:51 AM

It is a sad fact of American life that some children often have to struggle to get a-head in life.

by Anonymousreply 25October 27, 2023 11:27 AM

I cried because of the size of my head until I met a child who had no head.

by Anonymousreply 26October 27, 2023 11:43 AM

This exaggerated claim of "decapitation" is laughable. It would take so much strength to actually pull a baby's head completely off its body during the birth process. Even if the spinal cord had been completely detached the skin of the baby's neck would stretch massively and the attending doctor would clearly see that mortal damage had been done to the baby and would stop pulling. This is just more news media exaggeration to make what was already bad enough seem even worse, all to get more gullible people to pay attention to their reports.

This is what happens when unqualified affirmative action hires are allowed into medical school.

by Anonymousreply 28October 28, 2023 12:38 PM

It’s hard to tell if that heifer is pregnant or just obese.

by Anonymousreply 29October 28, 2023 8:31 PM

Probably for the best. Teen-adjacent parents, unmarried, and a baby daddy who makes cock porn for OnlyFans on the side.

by Anonymousreply 30October 28, 2023 8:38 PM

What was even worse was the one gay nurse doing Madeline Ashton broken neck impressions with the baby's now easily maneuverable head.

by Anonymousreply 31October 28, 2023 8:39 PM

This was almost three months ago. And updates?

by Anonymousreply 32October 28, 2023 8:42 PM

That doc‘s website is scary not just because of the ridiculous “glamour” shots. (Yes, quotation marks were definitely necessary there.) Doc’s bio is riddled with errors. Reads like it was written by a seventh grader.

by Anonymousreply 33October 28, 2023 9:04 PM

[quote]This was almost three months ago. And updates?

Still Headless.

by Anonymousreply 34October 28, 2023 9:32 PM

[quote]I’ve never held a newborn baby before, but are their heads really that brittle that they just pop off?

Well, I can personally attest to the fact that a child's head can just pop off at virtually any age.

by Anonymousreply 35October 28, 2023 9:47 PM

That reminds me. I bowled a 247 last night.

by Anonymousreply 36October 28, 2023 9:55 PM

A proper tug would have had the spinal column hanging from the head.

by Anonymousreply 37October 28, 2023 9:56 PM

You've never tried pulling out a fat turnip from the wet mud while trying to keep its greens attached.

They. Come. Off.

by Anonymousreply 38October 28, 2023 10:01 PM

I'm just sitting here giggling my ass off and loving this thread!

by Anonymousreply 39October 28, 2023 10:16 PM

I'm guessing that doctor got her medical degree from a school on some very small Caribbean island.

by Anonymousreply 40October 28, 2023 10:44 PM

[quote]Yes —it’s been reported that the mother has type 2 diabetes and the baby was larger-than-average, which likely contributed to the shoulders getting stuck during delivery.

I’m tired of hearing about how there’s an “epidemic” of black maternal mortality in this country, and that’s it’s all due to systemic racism. The reason black women have poor outcomes is because they are all morbidly obese and in terrible health. This fat beast is 20 and already has type 2 diabetes.

by Anonymousreply 41October 29, 2023 12:04 AM

Get with the program R41. If you aren’t white it’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault.

by Anonymousreply 42October 29, 2023 12:13 AM

A fat diabetic mother with an excessively large baby should have been a planned C-section from the start. Doctor sounds incompetent.

by Anonymousreply 43October 29, 2023 9:44 AM

There’s actually someone in this world who was so hard up for pussy that he was willing to fuck this woman. There’s hope for all you fat whores on DL.

by Anonymousreply 44October 29, 2023 9:56 AM

And to think this lady went to Virginia to give birth to her baby and lived in her RV. She was that fucking worried.
