I like McKinnon, but I suspect like Wiig she got overused on SNL and thus wore out her welcome. Her schtick got predictable after a time. But she definitely has a unique quality that can work in the right material.

I like her too but she lacks star quality and versatility. Basically she's only good at playing some variation of manic. She's kind of like a female Jim Carrey. If she's got anything else in her, I haven't seen it. She's funny though, in the little box she occupies. I thought the HRC thing on SNL was so over the top and corny. I get the intent and don't argue with it, but that had cringe before cringe was the word for cringe.
