When the wet brain smooths down enough, I’m moving in.

Such brave use of paint.

by Anonymousreply 1September 30, 2023 4:40 PM

1965!?

by Anonymousreply 2September 30, 2023 4:40 PM

One day everyone will listen to me.

by Anonymousreply 3September 30, 2023 4:48 PM

ew

by Anonymousreply 4September 30, 2023 4:54 PM

Oh wow...

by Anonymousreply 5September 30, 2023 4:55 PM

Looks like a tarted up drug den.

by Anonymousreply 6September 30, 2023 4:57 PM

Looks like the perfect place for a chainsaw massacre.

by Anonymousreply 7September 30, 2023 4:57 PM

That’s some serious Voodoo Mama Juju going on.

by Anonymousreply 8September 30, 2023 5:05 PM

I assume that those paint colors were chosen to cover the blood spatters from the murders that happened there

by Anonymousreply 9September 30, 2023 5:10 PM

I like the outside a lot. Fixed up it could be very nice.

by Anonymousreply 10September 30, 2023 5:10 PM

Does it have lake access?

by Anonymousreply 11September 30, 2023 5:52 PM

Jesus Christ, who was tripping on LSD and painted the kitchen?

by Anonymousreply 12September 30, 2023 6:03 PM

Groovy baby!

by Anonymousreply 13September 30, 2023 6:23 PM

Looks like they were in the middle of renovating when they were captured and carted away to the loony bin.

by Anonymousreply 14September 30, 2023 6:24 PM

Seems overpriced.

by Anonymousreply 15September 30, 2023 7:53 PM

Soon to be appearing on a very special Dateline.

by Anonymousreply 16September 30, 2023 8:06 PM

Who would ever willingly move to a town with 109 households and around 250 people living there?

by Anonymousreply 17October 1, 2023 12:07 AM

What's the opposite of curb appeal?

by Anonymousreply 18October 1, 2023 2:48 AM

Alabama doesn't have any curbs! Curbs are a liberal m ind-control conspiracy, like street lights and gubmint time zones!

by Anonymousreply 19October 1, 2023 3:10 AM

Could be salvaged. What kind of floors have recently been installed?

by Anonymousreply 20October 1, 2023 3:43 AM

The only real problems with the house are paint and location. One is quite easy to fix.

by Anonymousreply 21October 1, 2023 5:09 AM

Stairs are painted "Redrum Red."

That place has got bad Juju at every turn. No thank ye.

by Anonymousreply 22October 1, 2023 5:19 AM

America doesn't really "do" Victorian gothic like our neighbors to the north or in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Our superiority is in the split level!

by Anonymousreply 23October 1, 2023 6:31 AM

That is potentially a lovely home, some paint and wallpaper and the chandelier replaced in the blue room with the piano and it'd be transformed. The gardens actually need more work, it needs a lot of landscaping to present it at its best. The exterior could do with a repaint too. Kitchen and bathrooms are dated but functional, kitchen may be quite acceptable once painted and with new appliances

R2 1965 has got to be a typo, suspect it should be 1865 which would be about right for that style. Victorian Gothic was peaking around then. If it is a replica it is a very good one, although the roof is incorrect, its a modern but very practical and good quality product we know here as Coloursteel. I'd keep that as it isnt jarringly bad and it will do a fine job of protecting the house for decades.

It has terrific garaging too which is unusual for a home that age.

The only real problem is location. That is .... a problem

Below is the Mason-Dixon Line is a non-starter.

by Anonymousreply 25October 1, 2023 7:22 AM

Do you have any idea what the neighbors would be like? Watch "Deliverance" and learn something.
