My vet boards pets and also makes several rounds a day of the boarded pets, making sure all was fine. If they're less than fine, he calls me and says the team are assessing and addressing my pets' health.

And, yes I HAVE canceled airline tickets because of an ailing cat.

You know, I had completely forgotten I started this thread.

The cat has been to the vet and has medication to be administered by her sitter My vet doesn’t board. . But I am still anxious.

The vet bill was outrageous. $700 for exam, tests (all normal) and medication.

Our mini labradoodle was sick last weekend. I wouldn't leave the house. I stayed with her or my partner did. She's such a sweet baby when she doesn't feel well it just kills me. I am a first time pet parent (since I was a kid) and I am sure many of you would think I am silly old queen with a pampered pooch. Probably because that is exactly what i am. Happy Friday.
