He gave an excellent speech about democracy.

He’s not a great speaker, but he finally called Trump out for the outrageous things he’s been saying, quoting him specifically sometimes. It probably looks better in written form. That’s what will be in the media plus some sound clips of highlights which will sound fine. He did not address the criminal charges, just the calls for violence & autocracy. It needed to be done & that audience of McCain Republicans was probably a good choice.

Meghan McCain’s husband, Ben Domenech, was just on FNC and said he and his wife are appalled that unused COVID funds are being used to build the John McCain Library.

He and Meghan feel it should be built from private donations.
