I've been making things from a vintage cookbook and followed the recipe for Blueberry Crisp. It included crumbled 'bleu cheese' and it was so gross I had to throw it out. It's an old seasonal New England cookbook with some great recipes but this made me gag.
Have you put blue cheese and blueberries together? Were you sorry afterwards?

Might work with a mild blue cheese, rather than the stinkiest oldest one can find. And a good dose of sugar. Italian Gorgonzola and English blues.

Sounds like an OK combination, but blue cheese has a pretty strong flavor and could be tricky to combine. Do you even like blue cheese, in the first place? Lots of people don't.
