Oh god this one. He bought some art from a friend of mine like 20 years ago and gave him tickets to his band Deadsy. My friend took me along. Mein gott, did they suck. We left after 20 minutes.

He was staying there for 6 months but had moved on. Cher hired a guard to watch him, not in a stealthy way, because the Hotel couldn't deal with him being so strung out every fucking day. Unclean and looking and acting like an addict hobo.

Elijah's father was Greg Allman, who Cher divorced after ten days or something crazy like that. Greg wasn't present in Elijah's life. I don't know what kind of mother Cher was to Elijah.

I read that Chaz and Elijah have a strained relationship, as well.

From what I've read, Greg Allman was very sweet and they really did love the hell out of each other. It was the drugs that fucked it all up. He just couldn't stay off of them and Cher just had enough.
