I've been monitoring this closely because I'm fascinated (and entertained) by cults and the QAnon world has been in a frenzy since Saturday, thinking this might happen at any moment between then and October 4th. They believe a whole new sound and vibrations will be sent out.

They’re always predicting EAS is about to go off, which will bring about some kind of Armageddon. People will drop dead from the vax if EAS goes off, apparently.

Twice I’ve had EAS go off on my phone. Both times I was in NYC. One time it was to tell me there was a heat emergency and Con Ed wanted everyone to conserve electricity. The second time it was to tell me a flash flood alert was in effect and rain was about to flood streets, making people very wet and causing hazardous driving. The alert went off a half hour *after* the rain had flooded the streets. I’d just had to walk 4 blocks of suddenly flooded streets to get to a CT scan appointment in an overly air-conditioned building. .My shoes were ruined, I was soaked to the bone and shivering my ass off. People were looking out the window going, “It’s not even cloudy outside.” (It wasn’t. Flood was gone as quickly as it had materialized).

Nobody died either time. Or maybe they did, but Deep State covered it up.

R182, yes Elder Lez an election in NZ. We live between Oz and here. Got rid of the Conservatives in Oz last year...but sadly I think they will win in NZ pushing out the leftie Labour Party. There's going to be your usual trickle down economics stance leading to a sh*t show and hefty unemployment. Stark times ahead when the 'bottom feeders' (as their dear leader calls the plebs) will be giving money to the rich in tax cuts. Just truly mad with Trumpism trickling in here too. Voting here usually has a pretty good turnout. We can start voting 2 weeks before and there are loads of places to vote...supermarkets, libraries, department stores, Marae (Māori meeting houses), plus school and church halls etc etc. As we're here in NZ we will vote on the day. It's great to see everybody and their dog chatting and catching up. We don't usually discuss how we vote as such. We're pretty low key with politics usually...but who knows.

Don't bother with any of the MAGAts, for obvious reasons.

I thought I turned off all alerts but I suppose in one of the many software upgrades two additional alerts were added. Everything is turned off now and I will check after every upgrade to keep it this way.

I also wasn't receiving data reception after the alert was sent
