New season started last night with Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan, John Legend and new coach Reba McEntire. Blake Shelton finally left after 23 seasons. Reba was originally offered Blake’s spot on the 1st season, but passed the opportunity to him, as her husband was managing him at the time. I think she’s a good addition to the show. Can’t believe she’s 68, she’s had good work.

I don't watch the show but a singer who was mentioned on DL sometime last year, Sam Dearie, was on the show last night. The kid is from Ohio and there was a thread back around last Christmas about small towns, I think, and this guy had posted a song on TikTok in the town square. I followed him based on that thread so I noticed he posted about being on the show.
