What is your favorite theme song from a TV show?

Mine is A3's "Woke up this Morning" from The Sopranos.

It matched the tone of the show.

The opening theme to The Prisoner is amazing. It always gives me the warmest feelings and makes me so excited for the episode. Same guy who did The Prisoner theme also did the theme for Doctor Who

"Ronald Erle Grainer (11 August 1922 – 21 February 1981) was an Australian composer who worked for most of his professional career in the United Kingdom. He is mostly remembered for his television and film score music, especially the theme music for Doctor Who, The Prisoner, Steptoe and Son and Tales of the Unexpected."

On February 28, 1983, an estimated 60 percent of American households flicked on their televisions and tuned their sets to CBS for the series finale of M*A*S*H - "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen." According to the analytics company, that final installment got a 60.2 Nielsen rating and is the highest-rated telecast to date.

Both the instrumental and the vocal versions of the theme haunt me. Instant throwback to the late 70s - early 80s.

"Melrose Place," with the moody, atmospheric laid-back 1990s synthesizer line that bursts to life when the characters are introduced. Monday was always a crummy night of the week because you'd gone back to work, and this song always made me happy when it came on.

I do hope there is a Season 2 and maybe end. I love it but I don't think it could possibly go on without being repetitive or becoming a whole new show.
