Thatās not fair, what if it already was dead when he found it?
Alligator š killed after observed carrying human body in its mouth

Feels like the alligator didn't get a fair trial, even though I'm personally terrified of these beasts and their surprisingly quick little legs

Doesn't matter, once they get a taste of the long pig, they start craving more of it. Best nip that in the bud.

This is why the presumption of innocence is so important: since it's possible that the alligator was simply snacking on a dead body he just came across, other alligators will now get the message that eating dead people is as bad as eating living people; since living people are much more readily-available, why should they bother trying to find a corpse when that'll get them in as much trouble as easting someone's living baby.
Just common sense.

Maybe they can be buried in a dual grave.

Has Armie Hammer commented on this rash rush to judgement?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 23, 2023 5:46 PM |
The only thing Armie Hammer knows about alligators is alligator clips

You never want animals to discover that humans are a great source of protein. I donāt know about alligators, but lions and wolves have taught other pack members how to hunt humans. Itās better not to go down that road.

Well, then he should have just left the body where he found it and he learned a harsh but valuable lesson.
Wonāt make that mistake twice.

They grab you and then spin you around underwater till you drown, the horror that body went through.

Not if it was already dead when he found it.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 23, 2023 8:36 PM |
Maybe if there were more active predators out there hunting people would get their acts together
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 23, 2023 8:40 PM |
In a strange turn of events apparently crocodiles saved a dog's life when he fell into a river!
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 23, 2023 8:50 PM |
Maybe it was an alligator-retriever and it was bringing the corpse to humans for a treat? Did anyone think of that before they gunned that scale-baby down?

Why? We need more living humans?

Anti-abortionist think there aren't enough people. If that croc could talk he would lie about killing the person and rationize his actions: "Well he was dead. And I was hungry. Why shouldn't I help clean up the environment?" I question cold-blooded animals being capable of empathy.

R25, this made me laugh: āThe journal explained that its analysis of the encounter was speculative, and acknowledged that the crocodiles' kindness may simply have been due their lack of an appetite.ā

Victim was a 41 year old homeless lady.
The daughter of a homeless woman from Florida who was eaten by a 14-foot alligator has said her mother did not taunt the deadly reptile before it dragged her off into a canal killing her.
Sabrina Peckham, 41, was found in the jaws of the alligator after being dragged by the 14-foot beast into a canal on Friday in Largo, Clearwater. A formal cause of death is still to be determined by the coroner.
Peckham's daughter, Breauna Dorris, has now come out defending her mom saying she was likely attacked by the gator as she was walking to her homeless camp in darkness.
'My mother was a part of the homeless population that lived in the nearby wooded area. It is believed that she may have been walking to or from her camp site near the creek in the dark and the alligator attacked from the water,' Dorris wrote in a Facebook post.
Over the weekend it emerged how two months before her untimely death, Peckham was arrested on July 14 for trespassing on a county wetland just half a mile from where she was mauled, reports WFLA. She was ordered to pay $500 for that incident.
Peckham reportedly ignored warning signs placed around the area and pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor charge on September 8.
It was not the first time that she was apprehended for trespassing, as she has multiple misdemeanors to her name dating to 2014, records show. Peckham also had a history of theft convictions and run-ins with the police.

Try that shit in the upper midwest in January, when temps are 10 below.
And I'm talking about both the alligator and the dead woman.
