My profile looks horrible because i have "nerd neck" - a millennial life time of hunching over keyboard and chin down staring at a phone makes my neck shorten and my head stick down and out. I keep bookmarking videos about how to correct it but I'm lazy. It's pretty common with younger guys now for the aforementioned reasons.

James Dean, from certain angles he looked crosseyed and he was rarely photographed on film head-on.

I often spot random hot guys on the subway who are decidedly less hot full face than they are in profile.

Similar thing happened with a bunch of coworkers who I met while we were all masked for Covid - once the masks came off they all looked much different than I’d been picturing them. I think when only given partial visual information our brains fill in the rest with the best possible outcome.

I took a boyfriend who had never seen him to see Rear Window and afterward his first comment was, “He was really handsome.”

Re: Tom Cruise. At ~ 6:00 on this video, notice the game-changing chin and jaw implant and how it drastically changed his profile (and front, as well).

RDJ can look either amazing or like a goofball depending on less on angle and more on whatever crazy idea is going through his deranged brain at any given time.

Princess Diana and our Meryl have always epitomized this for me. And don’t come for me because I’m very fond of both of them.

I don’t consider either one particularly “conventionally” attractive. I think it’s the prominent nose factor. But at times they have both look stunning.
