He was sweetness and light with me when I met him at an auto show. He liked my hair. He invited me out of the line to visit more in depth later. His handlers began moving barriers to allow me through, but I chickened out. Now I’ll never know if Bill Shatner would have roofied me, shaved my head and made off with my hair.

There is a recording of him donig the voice for the Star Trek animated series and he says SAB AH TAGHE, instead of sab O tage. The sound guy stopped him and asked him to do it again and he was like "why?" and he said "you said a word wrong," the fight that came next was classic.

I saw him once at a Start Trek Convention when I was about 15, way before Comic-Con became a thing. That's were that record album came from. I was crushed when I saw how much older he was than from the show. Anyways, when I finally got to see him it was in a huge auditorium with maybe 200 chairs mostly filled with woman. Which was odd since most of the people that go to those were men an boys. He was blabbering on trying to be charming, invited a young kid up to get an autograph. Woman were practically getting their panties wet over his every word, laughing and giggling like he was the funniest most charming man on the planet. Pun Intended.

He really could care less about Star Trek the fans, I realized he was there just to get laid. My dad couldn't understand why I wanted to see him so we didn't stay long. Later on when I listened to that album, I was further crushed when I realized it was recorded long before and it was the exact same shtick I saw in person down to letting one young fan come up for his autograph.
