When I was a little kid growing up in Texas in the 70s we would see albino African Americans all the time. I always thought they looked other-worldly and exotic. I never saw them as “ugly” (and Texas has more than its share of ugly!)

Albinism is tough. I cannot determine if he is culturally white or Black but I do know it is rough for Black albinos. The discrimination is not overt but there is an old perception -- maybe superstition -- of genetic deficiency that discourages procreation with an Albino.

Men in general are more visually oriented than women and when you add in (sub)cultural factors to that, it means that being an ugly, gay male is the worst permutation of all.
