I remember thinking when they got married, how the press really, really kept hammering home about how accomplished she is. It did feel like he had a need to be seen as so intellectual. I get that Amal is a Lawyer, but damn enough. I also think that Angelina Jolie stepped up her image around that time. There has always been something a little smarmy about GC ( jmo). R35. I agree. It's been a pr/mktg scam from the start. At the start of their relationship, photos were released to portray Amal as a some international humanitarian attorney. It created an image that has sort of stuck to this day--but it's all bullshit. She may have gotten a law degree and dabbled a bit, but the only thing that's international about her is her designer fashion.
