To clarify, there are dozens of Soho Houses nowadays, almost entirely in upscale and/or hipster cities. Metro London alone has close to 20, and the one solo Soho location (meaning *in* Soho) has expanded to three. The original in London is one of the smallest, and there's no way any awards show could be held there. NYC has three, and Paul was at the IndieWire awards at the one in DUMBO. (There is, thankfully, no SoHo House in NYC, and I assume our resident grammar bitches and/or native New Yorkers know what I mean.)

DUMBO House OTOH is quite large, and it has one of the single best views in the city: smack dab in the middle of the Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridges, directly on the water with an unobstructed view of Manhattan. It also has a huge terrace & pool area, and hosts events like these for good reason.
