Taylor Swift, whom I adore, had plastic surgery. She still is the Carly Simon of our generation, even bigger actually.

I wouldn’t say more successful. She is defiantly an icon at this point. Her latest tour is doing twice as many shows as the Queen. I am not a hater by any means. Tay is grossing Marvel movie numbers. That is one hell of an accomplishment something that Beyoncé didn’t accomplish either by choice or reality. But the reality is Tay is grossing so much more than Bey’s tour because on average she does 4 or 5 shows in the same cities. I don’t know if the Queen wanted to take it easy as she is middle aged with 3 kids or simply cannot sellout 5 shows say in Mexico City. We can’t forget Taylor is still blue eyes blonde hair. We are only 13% of a population and Taylor Swift though not pretty in my eyes is the quintessential standard of beauty around the world.

R3, I would compare her to the Olivia Newton-John of our generation since she started out as a country singer and crossed over to pop. But she doesn’t have a Grease yet.

Taylor Swift also pronounces her English better than Beyoncé, but Beyoncé has a stronger, more powerful voice than Taylor.

I can't stand Taylor or Beyonce but Taylor is absolutely more successful than Beyonce. The only reason people think Beyonce is more successful is because of endless hype. Taylor is now the fourth most successful female artist of all time. She surpassed Whitney, she will surpass Mariah soon. Her catalogue is massive.

The only empirically true part of that statement is that Swift is skinnier.

My opinion, Swift probably can sing live better than Beyonce, as that was NEVER her strong suit, she is a hell of a performer. Swift doesn't seem to own the performance space as much as Beyonce.

Taylor really hit a sweet spot for this era.

First and foremost, she started really young and hasn’t had faced age discrimination. At 35, the radio starts to pull back, which is why a lot of her peers like Gaga and Katy are gone. They aged out.

Artists like Paula Abdul and Katy Perry were late bloomers and had short careers cause they were old by the time they had pop careers.

Secondly, she’s apart of a generation that won’t grow up. Millennials are forever young - we didn’t grow out of comic books, video games, Disney, Barbie, and we won’t grow out of our teenage idols.

And the chances of someone else coming along are SLIM. Taylor is probably the most successful because she’s going to be the LAST.

Gen Z has no attention span. They don’t listen to the radio, they listen to TIkTok and there are hit songs on TikTok everyone knows that even have low Spotify numbers because Gen Z can only listen to 30 seconds to a song at most lol.

Whoever the last vaudeville stat was, whoever the last radio star was, whoever the last silent film star was, that’s who Taylor Swift is and she’s ending the chapter of the pop star with a bang.

Never in her life has Taylor Swift looked this beautiful. Never.

Taylor has a country fan base too. Country music fans are the most loyal fans on earth. She could get cancelled and still play country concerts.

Sorry OP, but she isn't. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I won't many any comments about that.

Beyoncé is a good singer with an agile, elastic and polished voice that she has developed through extensive studying. Her technique is very good: she is rarely out of tune, the different areas of her voice are perfectly connected and the tone is full and even throughout her range, which is quite wide. Moreover, her resonance is excellent and she has great control of dynamics and modes.

Taylor Swift has a small, weak and uncontrolled voice that is pretty, but she needs to work very hard on improving her very poor technique.

Regarding their repertoire, about 80% of what Beyoncé has ever released is unmelodious, unlistenable shit. However, she has proven that she can more than justify her fame whenever she gets it right: Halo, If I Were A Boy, Listen, 1+1, Love On Top and Daddy Lessons are excellent songs that showcase her capabilities as a singer. The problem is that she only gets it right on occasion.

Taylor, on the other hand, releases poppy bubblegum songs that are sometimes catchy, but are about as substantial as helium. Also, quite a few of her singles are simply awful - I've never bothered to buy or even listen to one of her records, but I've been tormented by some of the insanely dull singles she's released, and I've hated how dismally mediocre they are. The only memorable song I've ever heard from her is I Knew You Were Trouble, which is pure bubblegum.

Regarding their success, what can I say? Musical standards are so low that almost anyone can be successful nowadays, if they have enough financial support from record companies and a team of publicists who aggressively promote them through social media. The fact that worthless whores like Cardi B, Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea have become successful, says it all... And let's not even talk about mini-Madonnas like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Britney and Billie Eilish. 🤮🤮🤮

The only popular singers whose level of talent places them close, but still under Beyoncé, are uncontrolled screamer Christina Aguilera, second-rate Mariah wannabe Ariana Grande and maybe Pink, who is the most consistent of the three. However, there are MANY better singers like Shoshana Bean, Belinda Doolittle, Jennifer Hudson, Ivy Levan and Tori Kelly, who are nowhere near as famous in spite of the fact that they have much more talent.

As for Taylor Swift, her voice is only marginally better than Katy Perry's, which says everything we need to know about her.

Jennifer Hudson is not a better singer than Beyonce. Did you see that Oscar telecast. Right then it was proven Jhud got very very lucky with the Effie role but duplicate it live she could not. She was out of breath and basically screaming. Obviously she can sing but SANG she cannot.
