It’s not TERRIBLE as far as teen sex comedies go, but I wonder why she did it. Matthew Broderick looks so, so bad. Laura Benanti is a bright spot.
No Hard Feelings with Jennifer Lawrence

[quote]I wonder why she did it.
Without Harvey, she has a very limited run left given how insufferable she is. The whole sweetheart act was her greatest acting performance to date.

I only want to see the scene where she gets punched in the throat.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 2, 2023 1:32 AM |
She's washed up.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 2, 2023 1:32 AM |
I thought it was funny. Say what you want about JLaw but she has charisma.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | January 3, 2024 6:53 PM |
I hate to say it, but I watched it bored during the holidays and laughed more than I expected. It was charmingly weird.
R4, DL hates her, but she's a movie star. She just is. And that was clear from the first few frames of Winter's Bone.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | January 3, 2024 7:16 PM |
R5: It’s not just the DL. Most of the public hates her. She did well with safe franchise films like The Hunger James but she had a lot of failed movies with her as the lead (Mother, Red Sparrow, Joy, Passengers). I don’t see a lot of “star power” if you ask me. She produced this film through her production company. Moreover, despite the globe nomination, it didn’t seem to change people’s minds that much about her.

I've always found the blowback against her weird. She is funny and charismatic -- that shines through in this movie. What's the problem?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | January 3, 2024 7:33 PM |
Ever since Weinstein got arrested her career went downhill. Until she finds another powerful player to fuck in exchange for roles, we can expect more of the same from her.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | January 3, 2024 7:34 PM |
That movie sucked.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | January 3, 2024 7:51 PM |
R6 I disagree. Sure, she's had some misses. But name one youngish female star who gets more buzz than her? Emma Stone for sure. Maybe Zendaya. I guess Lady Gaga now. That's really about it.
Is she Julia or Sandra? No. But no one is anymore.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 3, 2024 7:59 PM |
I think she’s more charismatic than someone like Margot Robbie is.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 3, 2024 8:01 PM |
I still cannot look at her without seeing her enormous pussy below her ring.
Vile cunt
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 3, 2024 8:05 PM |
R12, did you see that picture against your will or did you find it on your own and click on it?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | January 3, 2024 8:15 PM |
Popped up on Google when they first surfaced back in the day.
I am not a fan of pussy(apologies to all lesbians and women).
My aversion is such that I refused to be born naturally-they had to cut me out. No fucking way am I going thru that tunnel, I remember saying to myself, as I held onto whatever I could to stop being forced out. Mama said I gave her a hard time.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 3, 2024 8:20 PM |
Why did she do it? JLaw got $25 mil for the film. And while the flick only made $85 mil to date, it was picked up by Netflix, meaning JLaw will continue making $$$ off the film for years to come.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 3, 2024 8:26 PM |
She'll die before she admits the Weinstein rumors are true. She was everywhere when he was in power but everything dried up as soon as he got sent to prison.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 3, 2024 8:28 PM |
R15: The film could've been an even bigger hit if she had accepted a mere $10 million. After Weinstein got locked up, studios didn't want to hire her because of her $25M quote and her rocky history at the box office. Bitch really did think she was the next Julia Roberts.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 3, 2024 8:31 PM |
R12 “enormous” pussy? I saw some of the pics back then and don’t remember it being bigger than average
by Anonymous | reply 18 | January 3, 2024 8:31 PM |
For the life of me I don’t get why people think she’s charming. This is a woman who admitted she becomes an asshole to avoid fan encounters and selfies. This is the same woman who intentionally tripped on the red carpet multiple times to get attention.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 3, 2024 8:34 PM |
I was pleasantly surprised. Not just by her performance which I thought was a lot of fun, but the movie had unexpected heart and depth. One of the better films I saw last year and will probably rewatch.

R14 is a caricature of something sinister
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 3, 2024 8:42 PM |
r14 You are truly an idiot
by Anonymous | reply 22 | January 3, 2024 8:45 PM |
R12 I wonder if Weinstein took those pics? You know they were for him.
I think she's a horrible actress and yet has been nominated for an Oscar 4 times, along with all the other awards several times (Golden Globe, Critics Choice, SAG, BAFTA, etc..) and won quite a few before 2017, which was when the Weinstein investigation began.
All her movies sucked since then. Coincidence? I think not. She broke the springs on that casting couch.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 3, 2024 9:34 PM |
JLaw’s biggest problem is her filmography. Aside from The Hunger Games movies, most of it hasn’t aged very well. She needs to star in more movies people will still be talking about in the future.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 3, 2024 11:20 PM |
Another tear down on DL of a very talented actress/actor. So what else is new?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | January 4, 2024 2:14 AM |
She had real world charisma in No Hard Feelings and was the best part of the movie. I love the scene where she’s treated like an elderly woman at the high school party (and when the asshole orders a G+T three minutes before the bar opens. Her face says everything). The script could have been stronger, but she has chutzpah.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | January 4, 2024 2:27 AM |
Not her fault, but MOTHER was the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had in a movie theater. I had loved BLACK SWAN, but now just stared at the screen in dismayed horror.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 4, 2024 2:50 AM |
I only went to see Andrew Barth-Feldman naked.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | January 4, 2024 4:14 AM |
I like her. But the film was ridiculous. And beneath her. So she tries to seduce some kid to save a house she sells for less than it's worth to her weird friends? She could've done it from the start and saved everyone a whole lot of trouble. Stupid movie that found an interesting premise but was a cheap follow through. I didn't think it was that funny. I still like her though and think she is needlessly attacked for being overexposed for a time.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | January 4, 2024 4:21 AM |
Better or worse Margot Robbie has the career Jennifer used to have. Marimax gave her an enviable start but whatever shenanigans Harvey made her do, people don’t forget her part in things as well. Lots of women run Hollywood.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | January 4, 2024 5:19 AM |
What kind of sex did Harvey make busted-ass Renée do?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | January 4, 2024 6:24 AM |
^Asian Granny Porn, Rose
by Anonymous | reply 33 | January 4, 2024 7:20 AM |
I found the movie kind of dull. The premise was weird. Jennifer was ... fine.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | January 4, 2024 5:28 PM |
She had the hardest, quickest fall of anyone in recent memory.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | January 4, 2024 5:39 PM |
Even if Weinstein was never cancelled, I still think JLaw would've crashed and burned. In the early 2000s, Renee was similarly everywhere and Miramax got her those three consecutive Oscar nods. While she did work pretty consistently after the Oscar win, her post-Oscar films didn't reach the same levels of critical and commercial success.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | January 4, 2024 8:10 PM |
Zellweger in actually a really talented actress in my opinion.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | January 5, 2024 4:11 AM |
Zellweger was like Kidman. After they both won their Oscars, Hollywood wanted nothing to do with them for a good decade or so, but they were both able to make comebacks, Nicole through television, and Renee by dying on a toilet for pay.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | January 5, 2024 4:16 AM |
Ahem...
by Anonymous | reply 39 | January 5, 2024 4:26 AM |
At least I wouldn’t have tripped for an Oscar.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | January 5, 2024 5:15 AM |
I could do without her in comedies. Her glib persona is grating. I think she’s a very good dramatic actress, though.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | January 5, 2024 6:06 AM |
The interactions with her past hookups were very funny—particularly in the first bar scene. The couple was also funny. I think she’s a better comedic actress than dramatic.
