This question is impossible to answer without thinking of specific people you'd classify as "horrible, narcissistic sociopaths."

And it's irrational to posit any causal connection between astrological sign and negative personality traits. A person isn't born a sociopath because he or she was born in August. They become a sociopath through years of mistreatment, egotism, emotional abuse, and instability.

I think all the signs have "bad" traits depending on the perspective you're coming from (i.e. they don't mesh well with you/your chart placements). They are all mixed bags. Even though I like some things about them, I have found a lot of Aries and Gemini suns to be petulant and volatile, and I find them completely exhausting to be around. I think Sagittarians are charming and fun, but they also tend to be storytellers, flakes, and not the kind of people who can be counted on. I love Pisces and feel like I fundamentally understand them, but they tend to be spineless which I find incredibly frustrating. My childhood best friend is a Capricorn and I admire their forthrightness and vision, but they also tend to have God complexes which completely repulses me.

My sun is in Cancer, and I know that sign is loathed by many for a number of stereotypes: too emotional, clingy, hotheaded, constantly crying. I don't think of myself that way at all—I am an emotional person but I maintain a steely front, which I suppose rings true with the "hard shell, soft center" motif that is associated with the sign. Water and earth dominate my chart (mostly Cancer and Capricorn), though I have a couple of wildcards in there (Venus in Gemini, Mars in Aries, Libra ascendant). I think I am a pretty agreeable person overall, by my Aries mother would strongly object.

As a Gemini, I will say that I'm often frustrated by others who try to oversimplify a situation and refuse to see nuance. There's never just one way of seeing an issue, but so many try to make it so.

Don't just pay attention to your Sun sign. The Moon is very important as well. In the old Roman days, people's "sign" was actually their Moon sign rather than the Sun. Venus and Mars placements also factor into romantic relationships. Mercury, how you communicate and how you take in communications from others, is another huge factor.
