He was very good towards the start of Malcolm In The Middle but grew out of acting

R1 well, his hair certainly didn’t grow.

I think he was as asshole for a while but I haven't heard bad things lately.

He stayed short and unattractive and that doesn't do well in hollywood anymore... along with possibly being an unstable asshole people didn't want to work with. Perhaps he's settled down more these days...if those rumors were true.

He's been concentrating on car racing, which isn't cheap, and hasn't "had" to work in some time. But money needs to still be made. I got no problem with his new gig.

Apparently he had a very damaging house flood - caused by his cat - causing him to loose many expensive things

Did he have some sort of a growth disorder? It's hard to believe he was already15 when he started doing Malcolm in the Middle.

He has stated publically that he has spent several million dollars on his car collection. Never feel sorry for someone who does something like this (or has ever owned an airplane).

I believe he's stated that he doesn't remember most of Malcolm in the Middle.

I don't think he can act anymore because he cannot remember his lines, so this trajectory is a bit more understandable and forgivable, even by DL.

Are we sure that he isn't secretly related to Kelly Ripa and Christina Ricci? Just like them, he has a bad case of Lollipop Head Syndrome.

Regarding these advertisements, who cares? He's probably being paid a hundred times what all of us will earn in our entire lives for them, so I'm sure that he couldn't care any less about anyone's opinion.

As I recall, the guy had some rather serious medical issues a few years ago. I hope he is better and hey, whatever it takes to pay the bills. Race car driving is not my thing but to each his own.

I'm surprised he's doing this. They must have offered him an obscene amount of money.

Bryan Cranston stays in touch with him and has said that Muniz remembers little about Malcolm in the Middle. He said that Muniz is often surprised to hear about the show and his involvement in it, as though it all happened to someone else.

For anyone who watched "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", they had a funny episode this last season where the gang meets Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul and then starts to stalk them. The running gag was that they only recognized Cranston as the dad from "Malcolm in the Middle" and were convinced Paul was a grown up Malcolm who they didn't care about.

Malcolm In The Middle was terrific, I watched it as a young teen then again during the pandemic. Whacky writing, actual humour, brilliant acting from the parents in particular and just a breezy 20 minutes of fun which was also sometimes quite moving. Plus it didn't use a laugh track

For years I assumed Malcolm in the Middle was produced by Falcon Video.

MITM was actually still good quality when it ended, not limping off the air. I really love Lois and as an adult really understand why she was usually pissed.

Haven't seen the commercials...poor Frankie.
