Arleen "Harley Quinn" Sorkin is DEAD TO ME!

She will always be Calliope to me.

Such a great voice actor. She made that character so memorable they wrote it into the actual DC Comics Universe.

It is so hard for me to believe "Batman: The Animated Series" was made a full thirty years ago.

Most know her as Harley Quinn but soap fans recall her as Calliope Jones.

FUN FACT: Her husband was a writer on The Golden Girls including such gems as the Aunt Angela episode, the Mario Lopez one, the one with Lazlo the artist, Michael's interracial nuptials, Blanche's gay brother Clayton comes out and the Inga Swenson (also recently deceased) episode.

At one point in the late 1980s, Days of Our Lives was going to build a spin-off soap opera around Calliope and Eugene.

I barely watched DOOL more than 1 year in 1987-1988, and this makes me so sad......

Same, R11. I had steady doses of Calliope and Eugene as a kid.

I loved her outfits. I remember reading in Soap Opera Digest that she helped design them. It was a great era of Cindy Lauper, her and Diz from Out of Control

She was also hilarious as Alison LaPlaca's bitchy maid Geneva on Duet.

She also cohosted America’s Funniest People, which I always preferred to America’s Funniest Home Videos.

I didn’t know she was married to Christopher Lloyd.

Based on Dana Delany's tribute to her in People, Arleen had MS.

She died of lung cancer.

Scratch that, it was MS.

She seemed very sweet, and as someone pointed out, she had to deal with Dave Coulier in his most annoying phase.

I met her back in 2009. My roommate and I were hired to film something in her Beverly Hills mansion. She lived in this huge $6 million (at the time) house with a golf course for a backyard.

Wow this is taking me alllllll the way back!!! Lazy middle-school summers spent watching Days of Our Lives every weekday, and then going swimming at the public pool afterwards.

I loved Calliope and Eugene so much!!!
