I am in the first week of a very strict diet imposed on me by my PCP and cardiologist because of stubbornly high cholesterol and blood pressure.

So yet, OP, I am very envious of your lunch. I'd kill for that meal at this point, especially since my lunch consisted of sliced turkey breast with no condiments or breads.

I used to get a McDonald’s sandwich every day after work, thinking I’d just have the sandwich and a large Diet Coke. It was mostly hit or miss that the sandwich would be lukewarm/cold and I was a lazy fatty who ate it anyways on my drive home.

Then I was started getting brain fog, and the soda and food had serious chemical aftertastes, like it was the bottom of the barrel or not the products weren’t mixed right. FInally not once but TWICE they botched the order and put TWO sandwiches in the bag. I’m a fat whore, but not a TWO SANDWICH kind of gal, so I quit cold turkey.

The brain fog went away if not my waist!
