My favourite promo they have done for Netflix directly (not Teen Vogue, which is unmatched) is the set tour. At one point they’re asked about the kissing and they are both so incredibly chill about it. Kit says something about the camera being up in their faces but then they both sort of shrug and say ‘it’s the job’ (from memory they actually say that in sync, as they do). I think that level of relaxed is probably what makes it look so great. They’ve been asked to kiss so much they can just roll with it now. It shows both how close they are, and how professional they are. They are both impressively mature for their age

I think it was a slow detachment process but something ultimately made them all snap and dump him. Here is a small observastion re the way Bash left the show. The Tudum article seemed a bit odd in that it could be in Netflix interests to keep speculations on whether Ben would come back in later seasons. It was stated that the Ben+Imogen parring was Bash’s idea. This, however, is essentially a Solitaire storyline with Tori’s best friend and moving it to season 2 removed any easy way for Alice to keep Ben in the story. My reading is that Bash decided already last summer that season 2 should be the last for him. There can be many explanations for that. The pay/ extra exposure ratio could be too low? The hate/pay ratio could be too high even though is wasn’t that bad at that stage. Or maybe he didn’t feel forever about Joe and didn’t want to risk staying in the show with an ex.
