Pick a little, talk a little, pick a little, talk a little

Cheep cheep cheep, talk a lot, pick a little more

Fat hillbilly people banning books. So credible.

by Anonymousreply 4August 19, 2023 5:18 AM

Well, there's an attractive bunch.

by Anonymousreply 5August 19, 2023 5:30 AM

Haha. You fools thought you could appease these bigots by getting married and imitating them. It's great you all see a reminder why we do not want to ever be like them.

Marion County, Mississippi = Revenge of the Fat Frauen.

by Anonymousreply 7August 19, 2023 5:43 AM

They should spend their energy trying to get prescriptions for Wegovy/Ozempic rather than banning books.

How long before the shithole states begin burning suspected gay people at the stake?

by Anonymousreply 9August 19, 2023 6:07 AM

Come now, R9, they'll use giant wicker baskets, it's more environmentally friendly.

Seems like a scary place to live.

by Anonymousreply 14August 19, 2023 5:48 PM

Bitter because they’re fat.

by Anonymousreply 15August 19, 2023 6:58 PM

R14, I'm sure it is

by Anonymousreply 16August 19, 2023 7:32 PM

I went to elementary school in Marion County 40 years ago. From what I remember it was truly a shithole. But the schools were integrated, so, uh... progressive?

by Anonymousreply 17August 19, 2023 7:40 PM

Fast forward 15 years when these fat bitches go on an apology tour for discriminating against gays... after their children come out, of course (because apparently they remove the empathy gene in the Southern slave state maternity wards).

We condole you, R17.

The whole idea of banning books from kids is hilarious. These kids have hard core pornography on their phones, trust me, they're not interested in getting their thrills reading Heartstopper.

by Anonymousreply 19August 19, 2023 8:01 PM

^ I find the whole idea that kids are traumatized by reading books to be bizarre.

I wonder how many of the people who support book bans were reading dad's Playboys or mom's steamy paperbacks when they were kids

by Anonymousreply 20August 19, 2023 8:03 PM

All of them, R20. It's why they're so uptight.

by Anonymousreply 21August 19, 2023 8:05 PM

I expect suicide. matricide and patricide to go through the roof. You can only oppress people so far before they snap. These helicopter parents are monitoring their kids' every thought. Kids can't mature without some independence, individuality and responsibility.

by Anonymousreply 22August 19, 2023 10:30 PM

Y'all are GROOMERS! Stop grooming kids with your homasexshul books!

by Anonymousreply 23August 20, 2023 1:45 AM

Not that it makes it better, but there's NOTHING in this county. I know Mississippi doesn't have really big cities or metros, but Marion County doesn't even have a city with 10k people. The entire county is around 25k and the biggest city is under 6k, DOWN from 6.5k a decade a go. This really is backwater, rural America.
