I don’t want to think that Heather was molested . I do blame her parents for being lackadaisical regarding her illness . Heather’s mom mentioned in interviews that a few months before she died , Heather told her mom that when she dies, she wants to be buried with her favorite stuffed animal, Dumbo . Her mom told her you will bury me ! Then what would be her last Christmas, Heather received a camcorder ( she loved directing ) and told her mom to film her “ so you have something to remember me by.” Did Heather sense she was dying and accepted it or was she actually suicidal and didn’t draw too much attention to her illness?
