....... a trove of more than 4,000 text messages, emails and voice memos between leaders of the group and Ms. Cuomo shared with The Times this summer. Together, they provide unusual insight into how far members of one of America’s most storied political families were willing to go to rehabilitate a fallen Democratic scion and humiliate those they believed had wronged him.
The Cuomos are back in the news! Andrew! Chris! and now Madeline!

Excuse me.? Governor Cuomo's removal from office is another act of vandalism against American democracy.
Read the accusations made against the governor and get back to me.

I had invested a lot of hope in him.

One of the accusers is a millennial who felt violated when the governor observed that she wore her hair in a bun.
The governor, who has met millions of people in his lifetime could immediately size her up as slovenly and poorly groomed for a visible government job, but rather than be nasty about her appearance and tell her to wash her hair, he remarked she wore her hair in a bun. A lot.
This is the source of her complaint.
There is another accuser who was complimented on a necklace she wore.
Necklace. Not breasts. Jewelry.
Another who complained about being called "Bella", as in beautiful, at a wedding they both attended. Not in the office. At a wedding function.
Another accuser is a magat who received a generator courtesy of the tax payers of NYS during Hurricane Sandy. Her complaint is the governor hugged her during the photo opportunity.

Lesley Stahl interviewed the primary accuser of Governor Cuomo.
The accuser says the Governor violently groped her during a work trip.
The accuser took selfies with the Governor during this trip and forward the pics to her peers.
It is never mentioned in the texts the Governor ripped her waistcoat open, pulled aside her SPANX and thrust his fingers into her FUPA .
Her peers only text that there are jealous they weren't on the trip with the Governor.

Lesley Stahl had to be the first to interview President Trump. Had to. It was a scoop. 🙄
The big question Lesley Stahl pulled out of her decrepit ass to ask was "what is next".
Dump, who is not a politician, but is a successful media personality with long standing professional relationships in the media, smirked and said ' wait n see".
Here is footage of Barbara Walters, an equally decrepit media personality, reading dump for filth, THIRTY FUCKING YEARS AGO.

The Governor is accused of having a stare. This sister of his has a similar penetrating and too energetic expression in the eyes.
Is the Governor being discriminated against due to genetics?

There’s now talk among the chattering class that, with Eric Adams’s troubles, Andrew Cuomo is eyeing a comeback by running for NYC mayor.

Why not rehabilitate Elliott Spitzer while we're at it? He was competent, wasn't he? Aside from upholding a particular law he was sworn to.

Cuomo's downfall was not so much about the magnitude of his misdeeds; it was about his being so cynical, so self-serving, and so bad for NY Democrats over so many years that when the slightest suspicions arose, he had no one to defend him. They were glad to see him out of there.

What's this with Cuomo appointing the conservative judge who ruled that a gerrymandering district was fine and it flipped from D to R? I read this in another thread here? Am I misremembering?

R15, Spitzer did attempt to make an electoral comeback. It failed.

I’m pretty sure that’s what people do, OP. They defend their families. And they use whatever communications they can.

Cuomo played both sides, R17. That’s how he got re-elected. He founded a group called Independent Democratic Conference, a group of democratic state senators who voted with the GOP.
“Governor Andrew Cuomo was actively involved in the formation of the conference, encouraging it to maintain Republican leadership of the chamber and providing tactical advice in order to keep more liberal New York City Democrats out of power.[20][21][22]”
He kept downstate democrats from pursuing a democratic agenda because he wanted GOP senators and donors to endorse him or at least not go after him too hard during elections.
