Sorry, the aroace storyline was poorly done and tobie is not a good actor, and Isaac is not a likable character. Can’t believe I’m saying “more side character pls” but sahar was completely underdeveloped.

Rhea cannot act. Bash was bad but whatever, rhea was glaringly bad. Bradley was fine, his character was also whatever

Joe and Kit fucking crushed it.I think I agree Nick got the A storyline which Kit did amazing with but I actually think that ironically gave Joe a good chance to also shine, because a lot of his acting was nonverbal reactions to nick or others talking and as we know from s1, that’s a strength. I said season one that I thought they were amazing, but had areas to improve, I genuinely think this season given the script, and how crowded the storyline was, they could not have done better. They just absolutely phenomenal Talents and Daniel edwards needs a bonus. Also, the chemistry is insane and they should fuck in real life.

This is not shade to Kit since he nailed it, but am not seeing what many critics did that Kit was the most amazing person to ever act, but Joe did pretty good. Think they were equally matched.

Not Kit, he smashed them, but even for HS scripts his deep wisdom sounded just weird. Odder still, because Comic Nick doesn’t can’t tell which ways up at the best of times. They were both so good it’ll just turn into a laundry list of why. Their chemistry and mode of acting as scene partners is absolutely wild. It’s so rare, I can’t believe how lucky Netflix and See Saw got with them. Even casting couldn’t have expected to be so insane. That last scene is a heartbreaker.

A quiet show stealing scene was early where Tori is freaking out that Charlie will get bullied again. Jenny is wildly good.

Almost embarrassed at how much she was hyping herself up because her acting did not back it up - Was impressed with will. Think his timing was great and he stepped it up from last season - Don’t even know what to say about tobie, he wasn’t needed - Joe and kit both did a phenomenal job. Sometimes the dialogue was so bad that it was hard to watch but they really did save it. Don’t think it’s fair to say that Kit was the standout, Joe did just as good. - the guy playing David was also very good

Quick thoughts literally no one cares about: Liked the season overall. The plotlines I didn't care about didn't take up as much time as I was fearing, I audibly cheered when they basically wrote off Ben, and that last scene was a fucking gut punch, especially whatever the fuck Kit was doing in the second half with his voice/eyes/face. Didn't notice any sort of difference in the acting of Rhea, Bash, or Yaz. As mediocre this season as they were in the last. Bash was serviceable enough for the last confrontation with Charlie at least, which is all I could hope for. Will improved a ton and I liked all of his stuff with Charlie and Nick. Felt bad about him carrying Yaz/Elle. Wish there was more of Tara and Nick, I really liked their scene at prom. Also wish there was more of Charlie and Tao, that scene at the bridge was great. Sahar being introduced as basically a love interest for a minor character is insane. She didn't even have a personality. Kizzy got the short end of the stick with how they handled the meatiest Darcy scenes with those effects and the noise over the argument with her mom, but from what we saw he's also a really solid actor. Thought both Kit and Joe improved this season. Would almost want to see Joe retackle the sexual assault scene from season 1 and Kit retackle the coming out scene from season 1 with how much stronger they are now. Both of them are going to body the dark shit next season. Also an obvious observation, but their chemistry was electric this season, fully buy them as a couple in love that somehow end up together forever.

R570 I agree he used to act nice, but he’s seemed pretty mask off (for instance grabbing Kit in front of joes face at pride). to be fair, Alice gave a like and follow to the page, but she’s both very close to Connor Independent of bash, is one of the few they follow, and was tagged as she drew them. Even with her hyping everything else HS related including cast interviews, she skipped posting it to her story. I think something like “upgrading >>” or how good freedom feels would be obviously aimed at joe, could sufficiently piss everyone else off enough to make them more willing to be frosty, and would lead to Alice being fairly muted in the project.

It’s refreshing after all the stories of “oh after my private school got out for the day, my chauffeur or stay at home mum would drive me to me insanely expensive acting lessons” that’s so common in the UK.

will also say for their wealth (wills a lot more than kits I think), and for Kit, childhood success, it’s a credit to their characters and their parents that they’re SO down to earth and chill and likable, instead of having that rich kid, child actor attention seeking vibe.

A few cringey parts but over all I was pretty impressed. There's SO MUCH kissing. I was pleasantly surprised. Kit and Joe were both stellar. I didn't really care about anyone else's storyline. The ending scene is very well done. When Nick and Charlie were talking about his mental health issues. So well done. Kit's eyes are so soulful and his non verbal acting is brilliant.
