That Vanity Fair article about Farah and Ryan is really interesting. I think toward the end of her life she was kind of a shell. Lots of beautiful women have a hard time aging. She probably had some combination of personality disorders and came to rely more and more on prescription drugs. I never bought her 100% clean living image. Maybe when she was in her early 20s. Hollywood takes its toll.

She wasn’t poorly educated she let the university of Texas after her junior year to go to Hollywood. She stayed in touch with some of her art professors.

She made a lot of bad career decisions, but did some great work in tv films and her work in the apostle with Robert Duvall and extremities was very good.

She quit Charlie’s Angels to do films and Leonard Goldberg one of the shows producers got her a deal for a bigger salary, a bigger merchandise percentage and a chance to do films but she turned it down. Foul Play was the film he got her and she passed on it to do 3 really shitty movies while Goldie Hawn ended up playing the lead and the movie became a smash and brought her back to the A list.

Farrah broke up with Ryan after she caught him in bed with Leslie Stefanson who was a up and coming actress in the late 90s and making a movie with O’Neal. She married James Spader in the early 2000’s and hasn’t acted in many years.
