However, the warning signs were always there, with him being friends with Kid Rock, Sammy Hagar, and Dennis Miller. They have all appeared on DDD.

That may have been true in the old days. It was once acceptable, and perhaps even admirable, that people would try to engage with those with different political views, even if they disagreed with them. But we live in a totally different climate today. Trump's attack on America and on the Constitution has been heinous. It is not acceptable to have anything to do with him.
