Netflix always makes a ton of promo videos all in one day. That's why the cast is wearing the same outfits in every single video. For all we know, they have already filmed them all. They can't do US talk shows because of the Screen Writers Strike. They wouldn't do UK chat shows until after the show comes out anyway. Hopefully the SAG strike will be done by then. But if it's not, they could go on some shows UK chat shows a little farther out. Even a month after the show came out wouldn't be unheard of for things like Gogglebox and Graham Norton. But it also depends on what the agreement says, maybe appearing on a UK chat show talking about a Netflix UK show is allowed. The only thing think Joe (and probably also Kit) would have an issue with is actually filming S3 while SAG is striking. But since S3 isn't supposed to start filming until October, I think we are fine.

Alice clearly has no desire to join the screen writer's guild, since she's been complaining about how hard it is to write the s3 scripts the entire time the writers have been on strike.

I know we’ve all mentioned bash being a spoiled coddled youngest rich kid which is true and explains a lot. But also probably worth pointing out I don’t think he has a single friend unrelated to acting. Even billy is a famous actors kid, his normie-ish friends are still in artsy jobs but living great lives, which makes me think they’re also rich as fuck and probably child actors who stopped when they got older. Obviously some child actors turn out great, but they’re generally the ones, like Kit, whose families kept them really grounded and who have one foot firmly in the regular world with regular friends, chores, things like that. Child acting absolutely leads to stunted emotional growth if that’s your entire social circle, and it is his. Amybeth, Nell, Kiera, Emilia, Emily, even billy, as mentioned, ty. Compared to joe growing up absolutely normal, working to middle class, single mother, extremely down to earth. It’s not surprising to me that despite joe having the “fiery” personality and bash being the “sweet” one that when it comes down to it joe is the more mature and empathic.

Obviously the media is more interested in their friendship with one another than anyone else so we see those questions more, but it has struck me that none of the times they’ve talked about one another have been taken out of context when they mention the whole cast. They’ll generally talk about how the cast or some of their best friends, and feel like a family, how having a lot of new queer actors on set was amazing, and then wax rhapsodic in a very genuine way about what wonderful people one another are. The whole point of a SAG strike is to completely shutdown Hollywood. HS is UK based and will be effected far less than US based shows/movies like RWRB. Lots of movies have been front loading their promo in preparation for the strike, but that can easily mean by the time it actually comes out it feels like old news.

Joe and Kit definitely recorded promo in NY when they were there together in June. They most likely recorded some promo together in London in the past few weeks. And there may even be old promo footage from when they were in Brazil that hasn’t been released. Netflix will figure out how to include them in PR.

Also, UK based chat shows won’t be able to have any SAG members as guests until after the strike ends. Joe and Kit obviously aren’t the only British actors in SAG. People like Will, Yaz, Cori, etc might end up doing more in person interviews around the time of release just because chat shows will be desperate for non SAG guests.

Overall, the strike will have no effect on HS viewership. It might help it, because other shows aren’t going to have non SAG supporting cast members to pull out.

R594 I think holly is much more comfortable dressing women, and joe is kind of an ideal male client if that’s what you’re used to. Frame wise extremely slim, he can wear any colour, he doesn’t mind edgy or tight fitting stuff, he will wear women’s clothing.
