I used to read read the reviews on yelp about her other restaurant, Casa Bianca being grubby, overpriced and poorly maintained. The only positives were the staff who offered superior customer service

My ex mother in law was a huge housewives fan, so we took her to Villa Blanca for her birthday.

The restaurant was filthy. The formerly white tablecloths and napkins were yellowed, the glasses had rinse spots, and the bathroom was strewn with paper towels and hadn’t been cleaned for sometime.

The food was mediocre and overpriced.

Pump was the best of het three restaurants. I think LVP probably intended to close Sur as well and move to Vegas, where her restaurants are thriving, but Vanderpump Rules bounced back this year.

The timing of this post is funny to me—I was just watching a movie called "Killer's Moon" last night, which stars a teenage Lisa Vanderpump (I had no idea she ever acted—I only knew of her from her reality TV series, nor would I have recognized her here). It is a slasher movie about a group of mental patients on LSD who terrorize a hotel in the Lake District where a group of schoolgirls are staying on a choir trip. Lisa gets raped in it, and after, one of her friends tells her to just "pretend it didn't happen", that she'll act as though she didn't witness it, and they can move on with their lives.

Anyone notice that most celeb restaurants suck either in food or service quality. Though my friend went to Kandi Buresses restaurant in Atlanta and said the food was good they just waited forever for their food.

Actually this is old news. News was out weeks ago. I had some good times there even though it was a bit Hollywood. They closed because the rent was raised to a million dollars. Don’t blame her for not wanting to pay that much.

[R30] I met her a few times and when my friends from Houston visited we took them there and we took pictures with her and Ken with Giggy. When I first met her I told her she looked beautiful and she said “Oh maybe I will convert you!” I also use to see James from Vanderpump Rules there because he use to be the DJ. It was a fun restaurant. I loved to sit outside amidst the olive trees that were flown in from Italy. I wonder what will happen to those beautiful trees?

Crime is out of control in WeHo ! Losing business. A lot of violent, insane homeless

Homeless are all over that part of Santa Monica Blvd. There will be a homeless shelter opening next door to the ihop just off LaCienga & Santa Monica Blvd. A hotel closed and the city is turning it into a homeless spot. Pump will close and it will only get worse. A lot of empty businesses around there. Do landlords make money on closed businesses? It’s nuts they jack rent up to a level that nobody wants to rent the spaces.

Pump was the only business that ever worked in that location. Before that it had a La Salsa knockoff, a sweatpants store, a coffeehouse….nothing really lasted there before Pump.

I’ve already bought it and I’m reopening it and renaming it PIMP!

It used to be the Hamburger Haven, a dive with decent burgers. In The Opposite of Sex, hunky Ivan Sergei is working there when his ex-boyfriend finds him emptying the trash.

Hamburger Haven is across the street from Pump. It was in the Opposite of Sex when it was the Mexican fast casual place.

Pump site use to be a cheap fairly decent TexMex restaurant where you could swallow a massive meaty burrito and then order lunch.

Villa Blanca closed, Pump Closed. Sur is on the same block as Pump I wonder if they have the same landlord? I ate at SUR once, it was pretty damn good, he service was great, the food was excellent. I got a chicken dish and it was served hot (a pet peeve of mine when the food comes out tepid warm at best). I only saw Max and Peter that night. Never been to Pump but with The Abbey close, it was a lot of competition. I thnk LVP is more into opening Vegas places now as they are tourist destinations and make a lot more money,

Supposedly the Pump landlord denied their version of events, even indicating that had been given leniency for non-payment during COVID.
