Random thought time. I love Joe and Kit's friendship (far more invested in that than any of the rest of the cast), but I do sometimes think it's funny/interesting that they ended up becoming so close - of course, working together and going through all the stressful experiences of fame has bonded them. But fame and work aside, they seem to have very little in common. Kit doesn't seem to have a huge wealth of hobbies, mostly mentioning the same few things in interviews (NBA, gym, etc) and none of these line up with the sort of thing Joe enjoys doing. But either way, their friendship just seems to work. I wouldn't be surprised if Kit has discovered more 'queer' hobbies since hanging out with the Heartstopper cast, after growing up in the heternormative environment of his school and friends.
