It’s amazing how many people have no critical thinking skills and are completely delusional. I remember reading here as COVID came about and the majority of people lived in denial until we were in quarantine. Which instances in life made you realize how many low IQ individuals are amongst us?

On Wheel of Fortune, the wheel is heavy and you are able to adjust your spinning speed to avoid "bankrupt" and "lose a turn". Yet people are oblivious, and you are able to see where the wheel will stop if you watch it on the wide-view shots.
So many people have accumulated over $10,000, or they are spinning the wheel when there are lots of letters in the puzzle, great opportunities, and they land on one of these spaces which makes them lose. Amazing!

Example from today. I ordered a delivery. I put instructions that were easy. Meet me at the gate next to mailbox ####. It is not a house.
So, the woman who looked to be about 40 and was a native English speaker, had pulled into my neighbors driveway about 2 acres away. I asked her by phone to drive to my gate after telling her it wasn’t my house, and I told her I didn’t think it was proper to receive the order in the neighbors driveway. She then asked me- “Do you want me to leave it here at your house?” Right after I told her that. The directions said not a house. I asked her to at least come to my driveway. She continued acting confused. This person was driving on the roads.

"Just think, they want him back in the WH again."
They still think Trump created the Obama economy he was coasting on for 4 years. And that Biden is responsible for higher gas prices and inflation.
And that Donald was sending them $1,200 checks from his private account.
A 2024 Donald would be vastly different than a 2016 Donald. And he knows it. And when all his legal bills are paid, he will break the sad news to his adoring fans that he must stop his campaign due to, "The sickest, most disgraceful witch hunt in the history of the world!".

But he has never gone away. How much more can we take? Now we have to fear DeSantis. It's too much.

I didn't quite call it stupidity, but in grade school I thought classmates were being untruthful when they said they didn't remember things that had been explained in class. I mean we all heard the teacher say it, you were there . . . and later I realized they weren't lying.

by Anonymous | reply 65 | July 3, 2023 2:07 PM |
r65 I'm not r63 but no one was ever told they wouldn't get covid if they got the vaccinated. They were told that if they got vaccinated and got covid it probably wouldn't be life threatening. The vaccine was to prevent the disease from being at it's worst.
We see on SM and some famous people who are proud to be fat or at least try to come across that way but I don't know a single person that is over weight and proud of it.
There is a difference between Democrats and Republicans. The Democrats stand for a lot of good things. Republicans only stand for bad things and for the ultra rich.
I don't know what country you live in but Biden is a gazillion times better than Trump. Just about anyone would be better than Trump. I can't even believe I have to say this. Every Democrat elected after a Republican Was better.
And I am sorry that you can't see that there is a reason to our existence.

Listed to NPR yesterday when they were talking about Robert Kennedy Jr. and his anti vax campaign, and it was very disturbing as they enumerated, with proof the number of times he outright lied about various studies and talked about him instilling fear in people making them believe vaccines would kill their children. In addition to the events already mentioned (Bush's 2004 re-election, Trump's 2016 election, and the response to COVID), I would add the popularity of Sarah Palin in the 2008 election. Yes, Palin was mocked by Tina Fey on SNL, and she ended up being a giant loser. But I was shocked by how many people praised her when she ran with John McCain and thought she was a breath of fresh air. Even the media seemed impressed by her, at least at first. To me it was painfully obvious from the outset that she and her family were dumb white trash and that she didn't know anything about anything. Her popularity helped pave the way for other stupid people to run for office.

But here I am replying to Elderlez with her gigantic hairy tits, butch haircut and her 300 pounds of extra weight. She hasn't had sex in 20 years because she can't find her damn clit buried underneathe all that fat. She got jabbed 10 times, just in case. The woman, proudly displayed her Sarah Pailin sweatshirt to me, proclaiming "I'm a Momma Grizzly!" I played dumb and continued to prune my roses. We were polite to one another, we talked about the weather, and always said hello. When her husband tried to engage me in a political discussion, I'd be dismissive and say, "Oh, I hate politics, it's all very confusing. I don't care for any politicians." Then I'd laugh and change the subject. (I worked for a U.S. Congressman for several years before he retired, but they didn't know that!) I so not believe that most people are extremely stupid. 'Stupid' is a clinical diagnosis on the same level as moron, imbecile & idiot. I do believe that a large percentage of people are quite ignorant. They are not interested in learning about anything they don't already know because they are also very arrogant and feel that if they don't already know about it then it isn't valid. That arrogance comes from the way our social system in this country has operated for many decades. Our politicians (mainly republicans) have been feeding the lie to people for a long time that there is no better place on earth than the US, and no people anywhere on earth as smart as Americans.
by Anonymous | reply 103 | July 4, 2023 2:53 AM |
