That show looks unbelievably awful. It reminds me of the previews for that Lindsay Lohan movie about porn, The Canyons. But this looks way worse. The Weekend is really one of the most overblown talents in entertainment. He's talented but his music is pure 80s mediocrity.

My guess is that this spells the end for The Weekend's and Lily-Rose Depp's "acting" careers.

It's also going to have done serious damage to Sam Levinson since he kept overpromoting it and defending its sleaziness by saying it would attract millions of viewers.

This whole thing was stupid, it doesn't need to exist. I don't know how I feel about any of it. We saw The Weeknd say and do things on screen that no one ever wanted or needed to see or hear.

But fuck. I gotta say. I was entertained. There was a lot of unexpected talent on the screen over the past five weeks. Lily-Rose and the cast of loony-toons all exceeded expectations. Hank Azaria was great. Da'vine Joy Randolph was hilarious. The character of Finklestein played by Eli Roth redeemed himself with a myriad of nervous Jewish agent one-liners in the final ep. Almost made me forgive the line from a few eps ago about bleeding out of his ass more than the kids on Epstein island.

Trite yet satisfying conclusion.

*SPOILER* -- Only question is, why did Jocelyn take Tedros back at the end? That seemed really bizarre, considering he framed her ex Rob for rape and is generally gross and weird.
