My objection to Gayle is that she's an awful presenter and interviewer. I can't believe she was ever a "real" journalist. (I remember she got mad at one of her co-hosts because he was critical of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, no doubt because they are warm, personal friends of hers.)

Lester Holt's NBC Nightly News is drifting in the same direction I've noticed.

It used to be one of my favorite shows. I have finally given up and went over to ABC. They also introduced a number of sports segments everyday which I hate. They ruined the segment that Vladimir Duthiers used to do and they ruined the segment at 8:30 where each had a small news story that they told.
