Good for them, although I can't deny I always feel a bit negative towards rich celebrity couples who go the surrogacy route rather than adopt. I know it's none of my business and if they have the money, they should be able to spend it how they like but it never sits well with me to bring another child into the world when there are so many who are already here who need a family.

Adopting a kid isn’t easy. It’s extremely expensive, you give up a lot of control, they are no guarantees, and down the line you can have major problems with the kid’s genetics. Plus you deal with the kid inevitably wanting to find their birth family.

People who adopt kids out of foster care are angels on earth and I bow down to them, but it’s a VERY difficult and time-consuming process to take on.

If you have the money, I can absolutely see why you would do a surrogate.

It’s a shame if they didn’t perpetuate Luke’s genes, he looks like he’d be a favorite at the sperm bank for those looking for donors. He could probably sell off his splooge to other gay couples who are too short, dumpy or unattractive to want their genes for their children.
