Kesha Tells Her Side of That Viral Jerry Seinfeld Hug Snub: ‘It Was Depressing’

I find this tale of woe ridiculous.

You aren't obligated to hug random people. I'm on Seinfeld's side on this one. He may or may not be a douchenozzle about other things, but not wanting to hug someone you don't know, let alone doing it while being interviewed, is not unreasonable.

This reminds me of the Rosie O'Donnell thread where the Clay Aiken-Kelly Ripa incident was rehashed. Clay had gone on Kelly's show and had inexplicably decided to put his hand over her mouth which she immediately pushed back against by saying "I don't know where you're hand has been". Some of his fans thought her reaction was homophobic but reality was she should have thrown him off the set as didn't owe him that type of body contact.

Plus, can you imagine if this situation was the reverse and Jerry Seinfeld was out there whining how depressing it was that Kesha refused to hug him. He's be MeToo'ed into oblivion.

This show about a hug is a show about nothing.
