OP gave a misleading headline. He was not "arrested" for stealing money from those guys. That would have to go through civil court and they will have to prove the money was a loan.

Oklahomo here. I've seen this coming for over a decade. Watched him from the time he was "world famous" in small town Oklahoma in the OOs. Us yokels get impressed by reality star celebrity. One of the most striking moments was when I saw him at the OKC gay bars suddenly bulked up and speaking about an octave lower. He was never inordinately mean or bitchy to me, even though I'm a poor, gen-X, Native American homo outside his sphere (/s - that denotes, sarcasm, son). However, I sure as hell never contributed socially or materially to his cult of personality. "Stealing thousands," how provincial.

The show was such a bore. I couldn’t get past two episodes.

I flirted with James in Dallas before he joined the tv show. He is more handsome in person and charming. He is definitely the type you’d want to help. I can see why several guys were duped.
