I always think some of the reason he and Kit are so comfortable with each other is learned behaviour. They basically started being physical with each other (as the characters) as soon as they met and it seems like that leaked into their irl friendship. Bash has always struck me as a quintessential social butterfly--someone who is extremely outgoing, charismatic, good at networking, ingratiates himself with everyone, but ultimately has trouble maintaining deep, meaningful relationships due to their constant need for attention and social stimulation.

While he may have tons of friends and acquaintances, I always got the sense (judging from his social media) that they're all interchangeable to serve whatever whim or mood he was currently in, until he flitted off to the next group of people. His relationships always appeared like superficial ones to me.

Kit and Joe, however, don't seem like this to me. You see the same friends again and again on their social feeds (at least when they were being more open on social media), and even now, with all their fame, they seem very grounded and connected to the same people before all the HS craziness.

If things were tense between them for a while and Joe was really trying to do everything he could to make it work, I can actually understand feeling a sense of relief not long after getting dumped. Obviously, it always sucks to feel rejected. But when I’ve been in relationships that weren’t working, I’ve felt a ton of relief and general lightness when they’re over. That combined with Joe finally having some time off work after doing back to back projects for a solid year, he’s probably the least stressed he’s been in ages.

If ever there was a prime example of how these threads are full of Joe stans, it's this very obvious shift in the attitude towards Bash since they broke up. For the record, I love them both and my attitude towards them hasn't changed in the slightest.

A friend of mine went to see Tobie’s play. The said isn’t well done but definitely caters to an adult audience (so not something lots of teenage fangirls are going to flock to). Tobie has a small supporting role and isn’t naked on stage. If people want to see a decent gay drama on an intimate small stage, Paper Cuts is worth seeing. But don’t watch it for Tobie.
