Is anyone surprised that no photos of video of Carrie Fisher dead on the plane ever leaked to the press or online?

How’d they manage that?

by Anonymousreply 60June 7, 2023 8:07 PM

She didn't actually die on the plane, though, did she?

by Anonymousreply 1June 6, 2023 10:55 PM

The stench!

by Anonymousreply 2June 6, 2023 10:56 PM

i think about it everyday, op.

by Anonymousreply 3June 6, 2023 10:57 PM

Yes she died on the plane after throwing up.

by Anonymousreply 4June 6, 2023 10:58 PM

I thought she was on life support for a day or two but perhaps I am confusing her with someone else.

by Anonymousreply 5June 6, 2023 11:21 PM

I'm guessing she was in first class, maybe even the 1st row, facing the cockpit. So, a limited number of passengers in that area.

by Anonymousreply 6June 6, 2023 11:26 PM

I’m glad there were no photos. I wouldn’t want to see them.

by Anonymousreply 7June 6, 2023 11:27 PM

[Quote] Fisher died at age 60 on Dec. 27, four days after falling ill and becoming unresponsive on a flight from London to Los Angeles. Her mother, Hollywood icon Debbie Reynolds, died the following day.

From NBCNEWS courtesy of Google.

by Anonymousreply 8June 6, 2023 11:30 PM

Every day, R3. Not everyday. Everyday is an adjective we use to describe something that's seen or used every day. It means “ordinary” or “typical.” Every day is a phrase that simply means “each day.”

by Anonymousreply 9June 6, 2023 11:37 PM

Maybe because everyone loved and respected her, OP.

by Anonymousreply 10June 6, 2023 11:42 PM

STFU r9. This is a bullshit gossip board, not 9th grade English class. Seriously, get a fucking life.

by Anonymousreply 11June 6, 2023 11:54 PM

R11 lol, love you. I don’t mind cunts who check grammar but the breakdown in explanation. It’s like please get your life together

by Anonymousreply 12June 6, 2023 11:57 PM

"Fisher died at age 60 on Dec. 27, four days after falling ill and becoming unresponsive on a flight from London to Los Angeles. Her mother, Hollywood icon Debbie Reynolds, died the following day.

That was QUITE the deal with the devil, now wasn't it?

by Anonymousreply 13June 7, 2023 12:12 AM

r12 get your life together. Grammar trolls are beyond tedious

by Anonymousreply 14June 7, 2023 12:15 AM

Maybe there was no video to leak.

by Anonymousreply 15June 7, 2023 12:19 AM

I remember there was an Asian girl On the plane and that’s how it got out at all. She mercifully didn’t post a pic. Many thought it was wrong to post medical Info about people.

by Anonymousreply 16June 7, 2023 12:33 AM

I appreciate the clarification R9.

by Anonymousreply 17June 7, 2023 3:02 AM

R12 It’s like

by Anonymousreply 18June 7, 2023 3:04 AM

Damn she was only 60? That's was a rough 60. (Yes, I read her autobiography, and I know how difficult her life was. Dunno why I didn't realize her actual age)

by Anonymousreply 19June 7, 2023 3:09 AM

Yes, that's was I said.

by Anonymousreply 20June 7, 2023 3:11 AM

The official record is that Carrie died in the hospital on life support, but a lot of people have speculated about this. I listened to an interview recently with Courtney Love (I think it might have been on Marc Maron's podcast?); she was a longtime neighbor and friend of Carrie's, and she made a comment at one point that she was told that Carrie was dead before the plane had landed. Obviously Courtney Love is not always the most reliable source, but I have to wonder.

by Anonymousreply 21June 7, 2023 3:19 AM

R9 is more helpful than the “oh dear” troll. Thank you, R9. You can correct my grammar any time.

by Anonymousreply 22June 7, 2023 3:27 AM

It's still so crazy to me that Debs died the following day of a broken heart. It's like, who does that?

r21 That's really not that unusual. Her brain died on the plane, but they kept her heart and lungs going for a while in the hospital.

by Anonymousreply 23June 7, 2023 4:25 AM

[quote] Come get me grammarian's

Since you asked, it's "grammarians," not "grammarian's." (Plural, not possessive.)

by Anonymousreply 24June 7, 2023 4:46 AM

[quote] It's still so crazy to me that Debs died the following day of a broken heart.

Hon, she stroked out from the stress. Stress causes blood pressure to spike.

by Anonymousreply 25June 7, 2023 4:53 AM

Thanks, r24. That was the joke

by Anonymousreply 26June 7, 2023 5:07 AM

[quote]I'm guessing she was in first class, maybe even the 1st row, facing the cockpit. So, a limited number of passengers in that area.

As opposed to facing the back or the wings, r6?

by Anonymousreply 27June 7, 2023 6:15 AM

Flying is hard on your body, I ended up with a pulmonary embolism after a long flight and I was in my 30's

by Anonymousreply 28June 7, 2023 8:39 AM

Which drugs were in her system. Or are we still waiting on the toxicology report?

by Anonymousreply 29June 7, 2023 8:54 AM

R23 It's like, for real

by Anonymousreply 30June 7, 2023 9:17 AM

Tragic last photo where she is doing that stupid pout.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 31June 7, 2023 9:57 AM

She never met James Earl Jones until they both appeared on Big Bang Theory.

by Anonymousreply 32June 7, 2023 11:59 AM

Almost certain she had to resuscitated after the plane landed.

by Anonymousreply 33June 7, 2023 2:10 PM

I don't think her skin tone looks that bad in "the last photo" but then it could be her foundation at work.

by Anonymousreply 34June 7, 2023 2:38 PM

R34, I meant she has color as opposed to that grey cast that people get sometimes when they are suffering from cardiovascular illness.

by Anonymousreply 35June 7, 2023 2:41 PM

Notice that the excremental R14 managed with squeeze out two errors in two sentences?

A "me hate bad mans grammer thing badly" type.

Predictably.

by Anonymousreply 36June 7, 2023 2:41 PM

DL was on this story very early.

I always wondered if it was posted by someone on the plane.

Can people post from a plane flying from London to LA?

by Anonymousreply 37June 7, 2023 2:42 PM

R35, I do think it's the makeup. And I totally know what you mean by the graycast. One of my customers had it the last time I saw him and died of a massive heart attack within a few weeks. I regret not mentioning it to him. He wasn't even 60 years old

by Anonymousreply 38June 7, 2023 2:43 PM

I always got nasty bitch vibes from her, someone you'd avoid at all costs.

by Anonymousreply 39June 7, 2023 2:49 PM

The whole “mentally ill genius” was really too much. She was a babbling junky.

by Anonymousreply 40June 7, 2023 3:15 PM

[quote]I always got nasty bitch vibes from her, someone you'd avoid at all costs.

Your vibeometer is faulty, r39. I worked with her during the run of Wishful Drinking. She was an absolute sweetheart.

by Anonymousreply 41June 7, 2023 3:29 PM

I’ve always thought she was in a sleep pod (London to LA is a long haul), and when tried to rouse her for the landing at LAX, they found her unresponsive, and had EMTs as the plane landed. With the medicine chest she had in her system, not surprising she went into respiratory arrest.

by Anonymousreply 42June 7, 2023 3:48 PM

Her bowels evacuated into the aisle. Funnily enough one turd looked like a cinnamon bun.

by Anonymousreply 43June 7, 2023 3:50 PM

Didn’t even know those existed.

by Anonymousreply 44June 7, 2023 3:51 PM

Debbie was on life support for months. They just conveniently pulled the plug on her the day after Carrie died for the sake of the sale of her collection of memorabilia.

by Anonymousreply 45June 7, 2023 4:07 PM

She was in first class on American Airlines - a lie-flat seat in a private pod at the front of the plane.

Very easy in that situation to simply recline the seat, cover the corpse with a few blankets, and buckle her in snugly for the remainder of the flight.

by Anonymousreply 46June 7, 2023 4:21 PM

Carrie Fisher, George Michael and Elvis Presley all died from cardiac arrest caused by long-term drug abuse.

by Anonymousreply 47June 7, 2023 4:50 PM

[quote]Which drugs were in her system. Or are we still waiting on the toxicology report?

Per Wiki:

[quote] A full report from June 19, 2017, stated that Fisher had cocaine in her system, as well as traces of heroin, other opiates, and MDMA.

by Anonymousreply 48June 7, 2023 4:58 PM

Get a fucking life r36. Conversational English is used on forums. They're not academic dissertations. God, you're tedious.

by Anonymousreply 49June 7, 2023 4:59 PM

R36 should understand how easy it is to make mistakes given that he made one himself.

by Anonymousreply 50June 7, 2023 5:12 PM

To be avoided at all costs?

But she would pose with you for a photo at Comic Con for $50.

by Anonymousreply 51June 7, 2023 5:30 PM

There was a photo snapped of Philip Seymour Hoffman out from something on a flight.

by Anonymousreply 52June 7, 2023 5:33 PM

Phil is in a dope nod there. Also note swollen hand

by Anonymousreply 53June 7, 2023 5:44 PM

Why do the hands swell, R53? It just slows down everything?

by Anonymousreply 54June 7, 2023 5:52 PM

[quote]r48 Per Wiki: A full report from June 19, 2017, stated that Fisher had cocaine in her system, as well as traces of heroin, other opiates, and MDMA.

But no booze!

[bold] #Sober

by Anonymousreply 55June 7, 2023 6:46 PM

Really sad that, at her age (60 or so), she had so many different kinds of drugs in her system. Debbie was probably worried about Carrie for Carrie's entire life. When Carrie died, Debbie could finally stop worrying.

by Anonymousreply 56June 7, 2023 6:53 PM

I wonder what Carrie would have been like in "Carrie"?:

"While Carrie Fisher, Glenn Close, Linda Blair, and others auditioned for the title role in Carrie, director Brian De Palma was set on casting Amy Irving in the role. But when famed production designer Jack Fisk suggested his wife Sisssy Spacek audition, everything changed."

by Anonymousreply 57June 7, 2023 6:54 PM

[quote]There was a photo snapped of Philip Seymour Hoffman out from something on a flight.

Nodding out on dope is bad.

Nodding out on dope while a movie star sitting in economy is unforgivable.

by Anonymousreply 58June 7, 2023 7:31 PM

He needed to save money to pay his dealer.

by Anonymousreply 59June 7, 2023 8:05 PM

But I think PSH didn't want to go Hollywood. That's why he lived in New York.
