I remember it used to be that you couldn’t build a building that towered over the neighboring buildings and houses, preventing sunlight etc. but now they throw buildings up anywhere and everywhere, especially in Brooklyn. You walk down a block that in 90% two-story houses and then see this skyscraper in between them. It is getting out of hand.
That poor older man who refused to sell his house to the developers now has a building OVER his house? Wtf.
And I read this is actually legal now. Crazy.
