People would buy perfumes and clothes even without celebrity ambassadors

Companies spend millions paying celebrities to be in their adverts. The ads are usually trash and boring, so what's the point? People want perfume, so they'd buy it anyway if they saw it in a reputable store like Boots pharmacy or Primark.

The same goes for clothes. I've never once been inspired to buy certain items of clothing just because Dua Lipa or some other celeb is modelling it. Nobody influences me, I buy what I like. People need clothes, they'd buy stuff without the models showcasing the looks available.
