Datalounge's favorite comb-over (comb-down?) is hanging it up. Not completely satisfied with Kristen Welker as a replacement. She's "competent" but, like Oakland, doesn't seem to have a there there. Who would DL like to take this job, which used to be one of the most important in US news media?

R1 Reassuring, yeah, here performance in the debates (not decades) his her claim to fame. I just never got her political landscape - yes, I know a moderator is set up as someone who is "apolitical and neutral", but I never got that she would challenge something strongly because she believed in something.
